So I waited a year before I reviewed this. My daughter still uses as much today as she did a year ago, she's just turned 5 now. Loves it. It's included in her nighttime routine. She works it herself, it's excellent quality, lots of fun playtime to be had with it. It entertains all my kids. Looks the part. My one year old can use it. There is a whole lot more we don't do with it that I know you can do, we just haven't needed to yet. But I see lots of extras you can do with it also. My kids listen to it while they are in the bath, car, bed. Very light and easy to use. Highly highly recommend. Brilliant gift, my kids love books and stories so this is a great present for any child that loves stories.

Bought for my sons Christmas and I wish we'd bought one years ago. Bedtimes weren't terrible before we got it, he'd go to bed, get read a story and all was good, but then came the constant, "I need a drink", "I need a wee", "why do wasps have stripey bums" or, my particular favourite, "why is water wet", you know the score.Bought this and he trundles off to bed, we read him a story, then he chooses which Tonie he wants that night and that's it. We rarely hear a peep out of him till the morning and if he does waken through the night, he just puts another Tonie on, gets back in bed and drifts off again.I implore you to buy this! It is pricey but I assure you, it is worth it!

This box is lovely. Great quality too. Your child can put the figures on the top of it and it will tell them a story. Great for small children

After buying this as a Christmas present well in advance, it appears that the tonnie box does not want to hold a charge. It appears that I am not the only one to have this problem.

It was just as robust as I had hoped, easy for my Grandson to use, versatile.Hoping it will keep his interest as we add more Tonies for him to collect.
Recieved faulty product.
We ordered this well in advance of Christmas, so returning it via Bolo is made difficult. Our kid opened it on Christmas Day and despite charging it for a couple hours it would not turn on. There appears to be a loose connection inside, because I discovered if I apply pressure to the corner of the box as shown in the image, it powers up but powers down as soon as I remove my finger. This was the main present for our 3 year old this Christmas, along with headphones for it and several characters. Very disappointing Christmas morning.
