    I have recently had a knee replacement, this is high enough, so that it is not resting on my wound. This is why I purchased it and have been using it for 3 weeks now. The one gripe I do have, it that it is a tad to deep to comfortably rest on my the cushions of my sofa, however it does the job. I'm recommending this for people in a similar situation.

    The table itself is fine just as expected, sturdy, not too heavy, the legs fold up nicely to make it a flat table top tray.But - using it on a settee with the extended legs either side of me as the reason for my purchase, the tray slopes down way too much, making it impractical to eat from, so I have returned & will have to resort to my alternative of a bean bag lap tray.Using on a bed i.e. a flat surface would be fine but on a settee where the cushions slope way, not.

    Tray seems sturdy, but it's not 100% wood. There is also a small defect on the surface of the tray. Quality is not as expected for the price. It's not worth the money.
