4.0 out of 5 stars parcel dropped on dispenser - broke off
Used Diprobase before, but not this type designed for eczema. The original Diprobase is great. Other “special” anti-itch creams tend to burn a lot when applied if you’ve scratched your skin so it’s broken. (You have to wash them off for the burning to stop!)The price was good when compared to the price of creams in a tube. However, I’ve been unable to use the cream itself. The package containing the cream was clearly dropped on the dispenser head, which had sheared off and the cream had oozed out. The last thing you want to do is rub contaminated cream on your eczema.Responsibility for a refund laid with the supplier apparently, although this was clearly a delivery problem.Bolo customer service were great in helping me sort this out though. Now used the cream… disaster. The formula has changed and it’s no longer the soothing, calming, no fuss, always works product. If you have the slightest scratch - and those with eczema often do - it stings like crazy. Most unexpected and not nice at all. It stings so much you have to wash it off. Don’t use this on children or anyone with slightly open skin. It hurts. Why do the makers have to mess with the formula? It’s thinner and presumably cheaper. Now I’ve got to try all sorts of creams again to try and find one that’s as good as the original Diprobase. So, unnecessary. And annoying. Let’s hope the sales deteriorate to the extent that the maker is forced to return to making the good old, tried and tested, always works, and so keeps customers happy, formula.
5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant calming cream
Brilliant cream calms my dry itchy skin
5.0 out of 5 stars It is absorded into the skin very quickly and its not greasy
As i wear shorts most of the time the skin on my legs gets very dry and flakey, but this cream solves the problem with one application, and i dont have to do it every day because the cream lasts a while. Personally i find it better than E45 lotion.
5.0 out of 5 stars Really effective
Recommended to this cream by doctor for very dry flakey skin on shins and I have to say it really has helped a LOT! I burnt my legs 50 yrs ago and shins have flaked ever since despite all the fancy lotions and potions I’ve tried. Not any more!!
