This is such a unique item, feels like journal for writing down spells. The paper is cotton and very thick, the leather is soft to the touch and quite thick, has a hamade feel to it. Am absolute steal for less than 30 quid. Highly recommend.

I was after a Journal to help me get through a bereavement. I came across this vintage leather journal and it was exactly what I was looking for.The pages look awesome with their vintage look and the leather feels and smells lovely.If you're looking for a journal with a difference then this is the one.

I son't usually give a 5* rating for anything, but this diary is totally beautiful. It's leather bound and smells of leather. The pages are made to look quite ancient. It's perfect and I will highly recommend it for those who love to lose themselves among old books.

I bought this because it had such good reviews and it was nice, but on arrival I found that the paper was quite dark and wasn’t suitable for my purpose. I wanted to use it for botanical sketches and watercolour paintings. The photos of the journal showed lighter paper was that is what I was hoping for but as a handmade product there is obviously a degree of individuality. I think it would be good for writing in. The leather was lovely and it was very nicely made and I was sad that it didn’t suit my purpose and that is the only reason I sadly withheld one star.

A gorgeous indulgence for any writer or artist
This book is really well made and just beautiful. It came packaged in a cloth bag, which was nice. The pages have a luxurious thickness and texture, and coupled with the handstitching and deckled edges it takes you back to a time when books were handmade, precious artifacts. The binding was gorgeously soft leather (very leather smelling--maybe not everyone's preference but I think it suits the design). I gave this as a gift and not only the recipient loved it but everyone else wanted to know where I got it so they could order it. As an added bonus, I love that it's a family-owned business, the materials are all ethically sourced, and they donate a portion of their profits to charity. I don't know how it will hold up to writing and use as it was a gift for someone else, but even from the perspective of presentation I wouldn't hesitate to buy it again (and still might have to buy myself one).

Hat sich mein Sohn gewünscht um alte Rezepte niederzuschreiben- sehr schön verarbeitet- bisher steht noch nix im Buch- wir sind gespannt wie Farben und Texte von dem Papier aufgenommen werden.
