5.0 out of 5 stars Very comfortable fit - Great quality and great sound
I have had these headphones for a few weeks now, i wear them daily, the sound quality is excellent, very comfortable and adjustable for any head size, great quality, at a very good price !!! I highly recommend these headphones.
5.0 out of 5 stars Very good headphones for the price
I bought these for gaming and video calls and they fit perfectly (they can be adjusted according to your head size) and the microphone is detachable, supporting both USB and jack connectors. They are pretty good at audio isolation when playing music and games and they completely encompass your ears: I can wear them for hours without any issues.. Overall, I am quite satisfied given the price and the quality I have got.
4.0 out of 5 stars Good quality for this price - beware mute button on left!
Headphones work really well, good quality sound. Small design issue is the manual mute switch behind the left ear, which can easily be accidentally pressed/despressed when taking headphones on/off. This got me a couple of times on group work calls where I was fiddling with settings on laptop trying to work out why no one could hear me!Very happy overall, though. Very good value
5.0 out of 5 stars Great sound and Comfortable
I bought these to replace my old E900 ProsOnly headphones I will use after buying my first pair
1.0 out of 5 stars Good headset but lasted only 3 months
Good noise cancelling , decent mic for the price and nice sound but put it on today and no sound came through, will not order again
5.0 out of 5 stars Very good fit and comfortable
Bought for grandchildren they love the unit. Well made and an easy to use and connects easily.Good purchase. Would purchase again in needed.
3.0 out of 5 stars OK for some gaming
Digital USB or analogue TRRS connections. The mic is average quality and the noise cancelling makes it sound like a comms mic trather than a full quality mic.
5.0 out of 5 stars A bit of a bargain
I was pleasantly surprised by these. The sound quality was far better than I expected for the price.Sound quality is good, very good. Not audiophile, but sounds are distinct over the whole range the ‘phones claim to cover, without introducing any muddiness. Bass is there and it’s crisper than many; that’s not a criticism, it’s listenable, and I expect that the whole headset has been tuned for gaming – bass can indicate direction – if it’s not flabby.Another of the many plusses of this headset is comfort. If there was a ‘Barry big bonce’ award, I’d be in the running for it, and I found these fitted, the ear pads reached my ears, and covered them in a comfortable fit. Comfortable for 4 hours wear and with no yucky sweatiness. There are replacement pads available for both the phones and the headband – a good sign of a company that wants to be around a while. Maybe also indicative of the expected lifespan of its product, on which, if you register, there’s a 24 month extended warranty. The phones are sturdy and mount on a metal frame.Installation on Windows – there are drivers and a small App to install – the links to the software are a bit rudimentary. They lead you to Google Drive and you have to have (or create) a Google account to download them. You then need to place the zip flies somewhere convenient and extract them, find the installers and click on them. A ‘low-rent’ series of check boxes takes you through the process from there. Is it sick? No. Is it user friendly? No. Does it work? Yes. But I wonder why Eksa invested in such a slick website and left this process in an early 1990s type state. In use – you need to plug both a USB cable and audio cable in. Or just the USB cable, or just the audio cable, depending on what you’re doing. What I’m doing requires switching between an App that only works in 7.1 audio, Atmos or binaural, and plain old fashioned stereo. If I was playing a game – the USB cable would have sufficed, just as the audio cable will suffice for listening to music - if you can live without a light on each ear. I kept wishing for a little dongle, on the cables – which would allow me to switch things off, but soon got used to what was required. Mine’s a faff that most people won’t go through. The microphone? Wow! For speech, it’s fine.In the box, in addition to the headphones were:2 instruction type booklets,A QR code scannableA USB C to A cableA stereo/mic 3.5mm plug audio cableAn audio Y splitter cableA carry bagThe instructions were in intelligible English. Both the USB cable and the audio cable seem decent quality. Both are 2 metres long. Which is generous if you’re using a desktop PC. If you’re not, both cables came with attached hook & eye cable tidies – a simple considered thing more audio equipment manufacturers should include. One of the audio cable ends has a silicone type sleeve around its base, which can be used to create a tight fit at the headphones; it was colour coded to the headphones. There’s also an audio cable Y splitter – for devices that have separate headset and microphone sockets. This looks a bit flimsy, but as it’s probably going to sit in the dust at the back of a PC case, and not get yanked around, maybe it’s good enough. Finally there’s a ‘vegan leather’ pouch, or plastic to those of us not into greenwashing. It’s backed by some sort of mesh/cloth and has a pair of drawstring ends. It’s pretty clear that someone’s thought this package through.Would I recommend these? For gaming – yes – for general use, yes. For podcasting – feasible. For music? I tried myriad styles: EDM, ska, classical, Motown, rock and everything was pretty well defined, within the advertised performance range. But I have stereo headphones, that cost several times more than these, and their playback is more relaxed and dynamic – at a far higher price. If these were my main music headphones I think I might look at some sort of software multiband equalizer.Does that make these bad for music – no far from it – but you need to acknowledge that these have been tuned for gaming, for which, they’re a bit of a bargain.
