    Assembly required filing out the bracket to allow insertion of fixing hook that was 4 cms too long and had to be shortened with hacksaw. Edges of bracket razor sharp and needed filing down. Fixing pin had flat head and spun round as thumbscrew tightened. Pin needs square head to secure in square pre-cut slot in mounting bracket. Would benefit from 2 locking washers.Once difficulties in assembly process were overcome, the broom proved to be very good quality, robust and sturdy with thick smooth wooden handle. Very effective as a stiff garden broom.

    There was no assembly instructions and there are holes in the head as if the handle goes into them but it doesn't , the holes are redundant , which was confusing , but the metal bracket alone holds the handle, so what are the holes for? Anyway it's the best broom I have now and I have alot of brooms which all turned out to be useless junk. This is however a quality product.

    The metal bracket does not fit, holding the handle at a ridiculous angle. This makes using the brush Ni-on impossible! The brush head and handle are good quality but the "strengthening" bracket is a joke!

    Sturdy yard brush. Eventually figured out how to assemble it. Disregard the 2 holes and also push the pole further into the bracket past the shaped end

    What a performance, i could not get the bracket to fit to an acceptable degree, it all seems a bit pointless, had been reduced in diameter at one end way to much so it was loose in the brush head had to use the other end which was a great fit, no instructions included so don't look for them they would have been most useful had i not need the brush it would have gone back so i fastened the head on the old fashioned way.

    Bought to clear moss and leaves from patio and parking area; it's heavy-ish but that's not a complaint and comes with the 'heavy duty' description. Feels sturdy enough at the moment. A slightly odd design -- the parts clearly common to other brooms and brushes -- gives a need for the instructions to include a 'this is not a mistake' note once or twice (as in, 'ignore the fact that the broom head has two drilled doles for handle placement, they are not relevant to this application'). The bolt for the saddle is improbably, and disconcertingly, over-length, perhaps for the same reason. But once assembled it works OK, and is decent enough value. If you want a solid broom, this can be recommended.
