Buckwheat is not a grain but in fact a relative of the Rhubarb plant. It is easy on the digestive system, making it perfect for those allergic to wheat. There are very few places where buckwheat is still cultivated such as China and Italy. As buckwheat yield is low it is widely cultivated. These crackers are the best so enjoy when you can find them.
