Well we have had a few vacuums over the years Dyson and even a Kirby ( my sister in law purchased but couldn’t afford) , this beast is really good. Great suction when used normal and when you use boost it’s well powerful. Picks up rugs and removes lots of dust that previously vacuumed carpet still had on it. Only drawback is no light which we have got used to now on a vacuum but I can live with that

The vacuum is very efficient at picking up pet hairs. I couldn't believe how much it picked up compared to my old vacuum. The battery seems good too. Only 2 things that I was not happy about is that the charging light should be green (according to instructions) but it is white which was a bit worrying when I first set it up but it charges so the colour doesn't matter. My main problem is that the long nozzle attachment is absolutely useless as it is too flexible and isn't capable of even picking up a very flimsy spider Web or bit of fluff. It is made of soft rubber and is too flexible. The nozzle was one of the reasons I chose this model but it definitely is a useless attachment!!

Had it a few months now well made well finished what you hope for when buying. All the different attachments it handles all different jobs. Really good suction easy to clean when finished, good price battery lasts well.

Our lightweight Dyson quit suddenly and seemed dead, after 6 years use. Bosch, on offer, seemed like a very good deal. Problem is, it is a heavy beast, (unlike Dyson). Beautifully engineered, but not for my "mature" wife, or, quite possibly, most women? I discovered this problem on assembly and my wife loved the look of the machine but could not see herself handling it. Repacked and returned.

Having used another very well know brand that my Sister had this hand held is impressive. For me the ease of removing the brush roller to remove hairs and clean is very good. The fact that I never run out of power is a must ! One battery in the device and one on charge ready to go you can’t go wrong. Additionally if you want to spend extra Bosch make a range of very powerful long lasting batteries that fit this device, even if they are expensive. Their battery technology is outstanding after years and years of garden, DIY and Professional power tools.
4.0 out of 5 stars Perfect on hard floors, not so good on carpets
If you have a fully carpeted house, I would not recommend this. It is ideal on hard floors and OK of short, tight weave carpets. On thicker and longer pile it really is difficult to use and not as good at picking up.Initially, I got this with the intention of just using it to clean up small messes as I didn’t think it was going to be that good, but it has become the first vacuum I reach for and the mains powered vacuum is only used on our stairs, landing and master bedroom where we have carpet.On low power, the vacuum can easily handle the whole house using a 2.5ah battery (the Bolo pictures show a 3.0ah battery), and it will pick up pet hair and dust very quickly, there is no real need to use the power boost. The brush head is easy to maintain as the inner roller brush can be easily removed. The dust bin pops off with a single button press and can be quickly emptied. The filter has a built in “beater” that knocks dust out of it – it is OK, but now and then it might need an air duster to blow through it. It comes with a smaller roller head for car seats and furniture. A crevice brush for getting into tight places, an upholstery head and a brush head. The brush head was not great as it keeps slipping down to expose the shorter crevice tool. There is also 2 spare brush rollers and a wall mount for charging whilst put away. I don’t use the wall mount as I have a range of tools that use the Power 4 All Alliance battery, and I have a separate charger. If you are not already aware, the battery used in this is compatible with other manufacturers tools, not just Bosch, it is one of the reasons I opted to go with this vacuum.The vacuum is light weight and much quieter, easier to use and more convenient than getting the mains vacuum out. A quick charge and you are ready to go again. My only negative, and it is minor, is that the power on butting is in the forefinger trigger position. When you are vacuuming, you have to keep your finger off the trigger which is not that natural for a hand grip. There is a tendency to keep squeezing the power button and powering it off. Other than that I have no regrets buying it.

Powerful suction, great cleaner, easy to use, easy to carry around, great for stairs,easy to charge. We use it for a quick clean up in main 2 rooms every day and twice a week upstairs, and get by with charging it twice a week. So glad we bought this.
