In this time of trying to save money, using these instead of fresh onions saves waste and are easy and convenient. Great in Soups, stews and casseroles. My grandson likes to sprinkle in his sandwiches. I like to use in Cottage Pies, Pies etc., when baking and they are also convenient to store, unlike fresh, when you have to keep checking to see if they are sprouting.

These crispy onions add crunch and a deliciously moreish umami flavour to many savoury dishes. They're great sprinkled on (or in) omelettes, quiches, mediterranean recipes, salads, rice dishes, couscous, appetisers, soups and any other foods which need a little flavour lift. They're brilliant in a cheese toastie and on baked beans! These crispy fried onions are really convenient and are an absolute staple in my cooking. I wouldn't be without them in my cupboard.
