This microphone purchased for use in conference calls.I work from home, and laptop integrated microphone is not the best solution.So i decided to get this one.Why this one?My son got the same for gaming. He is quite happy with it. So i decided if he is happy, why should not be I?So far, microphone serves it purpose perfectly.Plugged in to USB port, headphones plugged in to the microphone itself.So I can monitor how do i sound to others.The three nobs to tune up microphone sensibility, headphones level, and echo.Don't use the echo, btw.The same button is to turn microphone on/off, press on the button switch on/off noise cancellation.Noise cancellation is not perfect, and people reporting that with noise cancellation on my side they don't hear me as good as without one.Level knobs do not seems to be doing much, as well.BUT!Microphone is working, complains for bad sound from my side on conference calls not anymore, and price is pretty good for what i got.Sure it is not professional or studio microphone, but it also does not cost a fortune.Overall, I am happy.

The customer service team were amazing. They really mean it when they say there is a guarantee on this product. My mic had an issue after I used it for about a year, I got in touch with them and they were very helpful and very kind. They sent me a new one within a week. I 100% recommend this mic. Very good microphone. Picks up sound clearly and extremely easy to use. I like to use it with a headset which is handy as you can hear what you’re saying or what the mic is picking up as you’re recording.

My son wanted a mic as he has started making videos for a YouTube channel. This has all the features he wanted for a price he could afford. He was a little disappointed that the sponge bit had become squashed and out of shape in the packaging and he contacted the company who quickly dispatched a furry replacement, which he was delighted with. He has been using the mic for several weeks now and is very pleased with the sound quality, he said it’s pretty each to use but you have to remember to turn off the echo! He said it’s a very good mic for the price and he would totally recommend it.

Unfortunately, I’m returning this item, my os is windows 11 when I plugged the microphone in windows did not recognise it there was no driver download and no icon appeared in the system tray. When I checked in device manager the mic was there with the “this device is working properly message” when I tried to update the driver I got the message the best driver is already installed for this device. I played about in settings until I got it to work but when I set it as default my speakers stopped working. I don’t want to use headphones. Also, on testing this mic I found the playback quality to be nothing short of poor. And not up to an acceptable quality. I would also note that when the cable is plugged into the mic adjustment is very limited makes me wonder why its fixed on the swivel mount. all that said it appears to be sturdy enough its well made, and it looks good. Just not for meJack

This microphone absolutely sucks; as both an entry level microphone and an audio device in genera, it certainly doesn't have studio quality sound as one reviewer apparently said, it sounds terrible in all fronts, its annoyingly finnicky and sometimes doesn't want to work properly, just a terrible product that's VERY overpriced for the quality of sound. The Only thing it has going for it, is the build quality which is decent. Terrible, terrible microphone.

Ho acquistato il microfono ZealSound per migliorare la qualità delle mie registrazioni audio, sia per podcast che per videochiamate, e devo dire che è stato un ottimo acquisto, soprattutto per il prezzo che ho pagato. Si tratta di un microfono USB plug-and-play, quindi è stato davvero semplice da configurare: basta collegarlo al computer o al telefono (funziona anche con iPhone e Android) e in pochi secondi è pronto all'uso.La qualità del suono è sorprendentemente buona. La voce viene catturata in modo chiaro e naturale, senza distorsioni o rumori fastidiosi di sottofondo. L'ho utilizzato anche in ambienti non perfettamente insonorizzati, e grazie al filtro anti-pop incluso e al pattern cardioide, riesce comunque a isolare bene la mia voce dal rumore circostante. Perfetto per chi, come me, registra da casa.Il microfono è dotato di un comodo controllo del volume e di un’uscita per cuffie, il che mi ha permesso di monitorare l’audio in tempo reale mentre parlavo, una funzione che non sempre si trova su microfoni in questa fascia di prezzo. La qualità costruttiva è discreta: è leggero, ma non sembra fragile, e la base in metallo lo rende abbastanza stabile sulla scrivania.Un piccolo difetto potrebbe essere la sensibilità: bisogna regolarla correttamente per evitare di catturare suoni troppo lontani o piccoli rumori ambientali. Ma una volta trovata l'impostazione giusta, funziona davvero bene.In sintesi, se stai cercando un microfono versatile e facile da usare, che offra una buona qualità audio per podcast, streaming o videochiamate senza spendere troppo, il ZealSound è una scelta eccellente. Lo consiglio a chiunque abbia bisogno di un upgrade audio senza complicarsi la vita con configurazioni complesse o apparecchiature costose.

Micro de très bonne qualité pour le prix : il permet d'avoir un son clair sans parasites pour tous types de contenus audio et/ou vidéo, mais également d'avoir un très bon rendu sonore lors de réunions.Le branchement est très facile et la connexion s'est effectuée directement sur mon Mac sans aucun problème, ce qui est bien mieux que de devoir installer des softwares pour utiliser le micro.Enfin, la couleur est hyper jolie et parfaitement assortie aux autres éléments de mon bureau.Je recommande à 100% !
Fantastic customer service
I am amending my rating to 5*. I was contacted by customer service who assured me that this was not the quality the microphone should be – i.e. mine seems faulty – and I received a full refund despite having bought the microphone nearly three months earlier. So, I recommend ZealSound – if you’re not satisfied there’s always the 14-day return window, and I wish all companies cared for the customer experience this much.——-The original 3* review belowThe microphone is sturdy, looks good, and sounds like I’m inside a brick room. Technically I am inside a room, but it’s meant to be used for podcasts and game streaming, which means it’s not going to be inside a sound booth. The reflections of the sound make it metallic unless I practically stick my mouth in it.Going back to a clip-on Røde, unfortunately. I should have cross-tested those when I could still return the ZealSound. A clip-on microphone + a long beard = not the best combo, but the Røde sounds warm and there is body to the sound. The ZealSound just sounds metallic and not very pleasant. With enough filtering (I moonlight as a musician) I can get it to sound almost as good as the Røde without filters.If you don’t mind the metallic (but clear!) sound, I recommend it. The Røde required me to buy an extension cable, not sure how they expected me to record on my phone with a 1m cable plus Lightning adapter. The ZealSound connects via USB-C and that’s it. No drivers, nothing, It Just Works (TM).
