Used this to extract fluids which had got into the engine bay in our narrowboat.Worked really well and suctioned up the liquid effectively.It did start to 'stick' a bit and needed force to pull up after a while because of small bits of grit which got sucked up. But perseverance paid off and now the engine bay is clear of erroneous liquids.

Works very well, made oil changes of my gear box and diff light work. Strong seals and heavy duty I would say you would be hard pressed to break this. Much better than ones I saw in Halfords and similar.

My car was over filled with engine oil by a local garage, so I bought this and it did the job, taking just under a litre of oil out (engine was warm) but it doesn't half give you a workout.Sometimes it was near impossible to pull, others I opened the top and wiggled the plunger bit which got it moving.I think the motor solutions would be better, especially for elderly or weaklings like me!But, hey, now I have my oil back to the top of the range and without worry.It took about an hour to do in total.

Not as good as my old trusty crown tool version which I drove over but time will tell. Very useful piece of kit. Great for emptying/topping brake fluid, coolant tanks, steering oil changes etc.. Also great for diffs. I've even used them for emptying the washing machine when the pump failed. It's that bit of kit you hardly need until you do then it gets you out of a hole.

I bought this in order to suck some oil out of my ageing hydraulic automatic gearbox. This car is relatively new to me and has not done many miles in 32 years. The gearbox was a little bit lumpy so I checked the ATF and and you could see the oil of the dip hole that's how full it was and even when running it never went below the maximum mark, therefore, I knew I had to remove some. The easiest way to do this is with some form of suction device. No one had one the size I wanted it was therefore, Bolo. I saw this and thought yes this will do the job and I therefore ordered it. It came in less than 12 hours and I nipped out in the rain to have a go; it was extremely sucky to the point where when the extension was on, it was extremely difficult to suck oil through it but that's not the problem of the product it's just the way Itis, therefore, I have no problems. Is it ok? Yes very much so, is it easy to clean? Yes it is (I did it in the wife's new sink) and with a bit of of liquid Fairy it cleaned up very easily. Is it value for money? Yes because it did the job it was intended to do and is there waiting for next time I need it. It also came with two extra o-rings I don't know if this is because the o-rings tend to fail on it or because it's very kind of them in case one should need them in the future they are there in the packet. Would I buy it again or recommend it to somebody else who had a similar issue then yes I would because the last thing you want to be doing is trying to syphon oil from a gearbox.

This product is superb! I grow tomatoes in my conservatory and wanted one of these for removing excess water from my tomato trays to stop them from over flowing when watered, a task which was done previously with a cheap flimsy syphon. These large suction syringes have made that job so much easier and far less messy, I can now suck-up half a litre (500ml) of water in a single pull of the syringe, marvellous!Build quality is nice an strong and you'd find it difficult to break this syringe in normal use. I like that it comes with two spare rubber 'O' rings, two extension tubes, both with end caps and also a joining adapter to join both extension tubes together.There are more expensive versions of this product as I discovered, but in reality they're all very much the same, why pay more when you can have a bigger water capacity for less?!

Bought the syringe to change the oil on my ride on mower but the the tubes supplied were far to short to reach into the sump via the oil filler to extract the oil.Borrowed a cheaper syringe from a friend which was supplied with a tube of ample length and did the job easily.Product spoilt for the sake of a few centimeters of plastic tubing.
