    Sadly the paper pieces tore so easily. My grandkids still used them (made an awful ripped up mess). however I couldn’t use them in my classroom which is what I ordered them for.

    These scratch off hearts are so much better than I imagined. The kit comes in a handy plastic reusable container. There are 8 hearts, 8 sticks to scratch with, 8 stencils, and some ribbon. The hearts are made of rather thin material which surprised me because usually the scratch paper is on a heavy weight card stock.Of the stencils, all are cute but I can't see when kids would use "Happy Wedding."I chose to try out the gnome stencil. To minimize slippage, I used painter's tape to hold the stencil in place. Even so, I had to be careful because it was easy for the stick to slip under the stencil. The colors that are revealed when the black coating is scratched off are extremely vibrant. After scratching the entire stencil there was a lot of black still so I used another stencil to add extra hearts to one side and then drew lines on the other using a ruler. I was very pleased with how my heart turned out.
