I checked the Q&A for some info, as it was confusing, someone said, They were sold as a pair and came in 1 box, So I though bargain and hit buy now button immediately, Found out after waiting 6 days late, they're indeed sold as 1 item, ordered another 1, then had to wait a further 3 more late days delivery for the second 1 to arrive, but with that said and done, the wait was worth it.After using the old speakers for 20 years, I decided it was time to upgrade, when I noticed they were not sounding like they used to. I'm glad I did, The Polk MXT60 towers are just so much better than the old set, I finally have the level of sound I used to have and then some.I've noticed Polk MXT60, have a much brighter high end, seems like the tweeters are boosted, but I like that and even turned up the 16Khz a tad more via the EQ for left and right channels, The bass response from these are so good, I'm definitely sold on the passive radiator enclosure, I've even turned down the volume on the Sub (Polk MXT12), quite a lot.Buying the Polk MXT 12 sub, in the first place, is what made me realize that, the old speakers were in fact getting tired. I've since gotten the Polk XT30 (centre speaker), I'm also going to replace the rears to Polk XT20's at a later date.

I initially bought a pair of these to add as upfiring Atmos speakers to sit ontop of my existing floorstanders (another brand). I was quite impressed by them, but decided to wall mount them near the ceiling for a comparison... and was absolutely blown away! I was so impressed that I ordered another pair! I now have two mounted at near ceiling height at the front of the room and two in the same position at the rear. My AVR is able to change them from upfiring to height/wall mounted and they sound SO different/better.If you can only upfire, I don't think it will disappoint you, but if you can wall mount them and have the capacity within your setup to change how they fire, then you will be blown away!They come with a handy wall mounting guide and template which was extremely useful.

These speakers actually work with Atmos and anything that needs height effects. I used to have some onkyo ones but removed them as they did nothing. I can only comment on these speakers being used as height speakers but I am delighted with these. The sound quality is really good but I have to mention the build quality is amazing. I had an accident when putting these up and one fell from around 10 feet😥 I was certain they were going to be broken but asides from some exterior cosmetic damage the speaker is working fine 😃

Sound amazing for budget speakers, the tweeter has a 3d holographic effect and the bass driver goes much lower than competitors at this price, 38hz. Just sound fab. Much better than the pair of Wharfedale 11.2 they replaced.

Upgrading from my "old" and working Tannoy SFX 5.1 system . To something a bit more up to date as I enjoy my 4K UHD blu rays and dolby Atmos / DTS:X soundtracks. Because of the expense . I am upgrading gradually , so started with the center speaker . It's damn heavy and feels quality . The sounds are clean and crisp ( I took the cover off ) . It does sound different when the cover/grill is on , giving it a more mellow sound . Easy enough to wire up and comes with a template to aid fitting to wall etc . I like the booklet that comes also with the speaker with everything you need to know how and where to mount speakers for different set ups It is 80 pages thick , ( 8 pages are in English) . The rest cover different languages . Polk also has a 5 year warranty on its speakers . This is just day one of owning the center speaker and hopefully will sound even better when its "broken in " . I have other Polk speakers arriving soon to help complete my audio . I couldn't find any Polk speakers cheaper than Bolo/ Peter Tyson . I am more than happy to recommend the Polk center speaker
Polk Monitor XT30 Compact Center Channel Speaker
Item as is advertised. They are well built and stylish. I'm no audiophile, just a guy that likes watching movies on my 75" 4K TV and 5.1.2 surround sound system. To me, it was definitely an upgraded auditory experience compared to my old Monster Cable speakers running through a budget Denon AVR. I thought the Monster Cable speakers were pretty decent, but these Polk speakers are very impressive for the price point.

Using these as Left/Right channel speakers in a 9.2 setup.I am no audiophile, but I think these sound awesome.Very please with the quality and price of these and recommend them to anyone looking for a good bang-for-the-buck system!
