This is one of those products that you didn't know you needed.There are lots of plastic types of these phone mounts which appear at a price point lower than this one. If you want one that will hold your phone securely it needs to have a strong spring. With a strong spring and a plastic mount, I just felt that with the pressure you need to exert on opening the jaws to hold the phone resulted in a lot of bending of the mount which potentially could end up with it snapping as you try. I looked at this unit and immediately decided that this was a professional unit and would last for ever. It's lightweight, strong and looks beautiful. Its quick and simple to fix to a tripod or monopod and once fixed is as solid as a rock. I'm confident my very expensive phone won't drop off and hit the floor. You have three different screw attachment points which may prove useful and places for adding three extras like lights, microphones etc and its strong enough not to bend with a big video light.You have infinite minute adjustment for angle and it switches easily from portrait to landscape and its easy to keep the horizon straight.Its an excellent unit and worth every penny. If you're bothered about price, its just the difference between the plastic one and this one and it all comes down to an extra £10 for supreme safety of your £1k phone.

Really nice little phone holder for a tripod stands.I have been using this on an iPhone 14 Pro Max and straight out of the box and into your hand you know you’ve bought something that is well made and very reasonably priced.It’s a metal construction, the locks are strong and stay in place and there’s a detect when switching between portrait and landscape so you know when you have it in the right position for shooting.I bought a second one because of how good the first one was, it gives me options for adding other cameras when recording footage for my daughter’s business.I read a lot of reviews of this and other holders and I was immediately drawn by the positive nature of most reviews and how much more positive the reviews were vs other phone holders.My phone feels secure in it and I have no worries about pressing record and leaving it while operating my DSLR, I use this to capture other angles

All metal design is pretty solid. The locking mechanism takes a bit of getting used to but is a minor limitation. Can quickly be setup to clamp phone small field monitor, video light. Good bit of kit and hopefully last a long time.

I agree with all the positive reviews so you should read those. However, 1 thing to mention is the arca compatibility. It fits but doesn't "lock" in place. It still slides left to right. However, as it got a screw head on the bottom I've installed an arca plate to the bottom and now I don't have the sliding issue.

It's a 5 star product for quality, finish, function, aesthetic, versatility. I only dropped a star on value as honestly it's expensive considering just how many other products likely match 'sufficient' function. Make no mistakes, this is another quality Ulanzi product. Nothing is 'good' about this product, everything is premium. The Matt finish is uniform and exquisite across all facets. The clamp tension dial in red is sublimely smooth, no play and precise. The knurled rotation lock is a gentle positive thread. Practical, threaded mounts to cover any orientation. Cold shoe mounts, top+bottom (or sides if rotated) and one on the back clinched it for me. Obviously the standard swiss tripod mount (plus threaded mount) totally covers all use cases.It's a utility device so arguably why need to be expensive? No complaints here very satisfied. (You may buy another for when your fidget spinner interest wanes)

At the cost of this item, and the build quality I am exceedingly impressed. It holds my iPhone exceedingly well and is easy to use and secure in the position you want.The tripod mount fixing works very well and secure nicely to my tripod. I would recommend this product to anyone requiring a announced hold their mobile phone on a tripod or other small tripod star amount.

Having tried a number of these mounts, including a folding SmallRig one, I am delighted to recommend this phone tripod mount. It is beautifully engineered, grips the phone firmly, and allows you to lock that grip onto the phone for a secure hold. The Arca-Swiss compatible foot adds additional versatility to an already excellent product.

C'est une petite merveille de conception. Une belle réussite sur le plan esthétique. Tous les systèmes de blocages sont concentrés en un seul point. Blocage de l'ouverture de la pince avec le bouton rouge. Blocage de la rotation du smartphone (paysage ou portrait) avec l'anneau noir. Petit bémol : en mode portrait, je dois pincer mon IPhone 13 Pro très bas pour permettre le branchement d'un câble lightning. Mais le serrage de la pince est tellement efficace que le maintient du téléphone reste sûr. Il important de signaler que le passage de mode portrait à mode paysage nécessite le déplacement du smartphone dans la pince. On ne peut pas passer d'un mode à l'autre à la volée. C'est une manipulation à prendre en considération et qui pourrait gêner certain(e)s.
