I am an adult gamer, I am over 40 and no I don’t live in my mother’s spare room. I am a lawyer and I find gaming to be my release.I am fortunate enough to have the Series X, PS5, Xbox One X and PS4 pro. I have Steelseries Arctic 9x for the Series X and PS4 Gold headphones for PS5.What I needed was a little set for the older consoles upstairs, for when the Mrs or kids want the main TV. I have had numerous Turtle Beach sets in the past and I have always been impressed.The Recon 200 are an excellent set, I was lucky and picked up a warehouse special for £22, so price wise a real bargain; that said I would have happily paid £50 for these.The sound is good and clear, the spatial audio is as good as you will get on a sub £100 set without real 7.1 support. I was able to hear footsteps approach in COD, and the bass was satisfying for this range.For long term play, I did find the headband a little cheaper than other similar sets I have had in the past (Stealth X4). I found the cups a little sweaty and a bit tighter than I would have liked for longer sessions, but for me as a second set for a quick 30-60 minute play they are superb.If you are looking for a set for a teenager, they will be excellent; if you can get them as I did for under £30 you will not find a better headset anywhere.They work with all current consoles inc Switch, simply by plugging the 3.5mm audio Jack in.They are powered, inbuilt battery charged via micro USB. They have a good life but note they are not wireless - you will be looking at circa £100 for a half decent wireless set.Good value, good sound, good headphones, Turtle Beach you are Turtely Amazing.... I’ll get my coat...

You get what you pay for with this set of Turtle Beach headset.I’ve had a few different models of this brand and this is the only one I’ve purchased that isn’t a tight fit on my head, I find them slipping at times. Sound quality is ok however not as loud as the previous generation of this model so that was a let down. Bass is good and I can hear enemy footsteps when gaming so can’t really complain I guess. The cable is not plastic or rubber but mad of some sort of material that is strong like a man mad cloth of some sort so I will not snap the cable standing up an sat on it so happy with that I’ve broken many that way. The mic is really good had to turn it down a bit if I’m honest really clear voice when speaking so happy with that. Ear muffs are really comfortable probably the nicest ones I’ve had an better than some more expensive sets I’ve had in the past. Would have been five stars but being not as loud as the previous generation an not a tight fit lost it a star.Would recommend perches for the price for sure, I’m happy enough with them.

Great pair of headphones for ps5 sound is great no crackles or anything microphone so you can charge the headset but you still need to plug in the headphones but the charge will last around 10 hours personally it could be longer but still great for price and superb quality they are not wireless in any way

At first, I wasn't super impressed with these. The sound quality isn't the best I've heard and they require charging despite being wired. However, after messing around with the sound settings in game and with the headphones themselves, I quickly found myself being able to pick up audio cues I wouldn't normally hear.These are great for games like PUBG or Warzone when you're required to listen for footsteps or movement, and you can pinpoint directions with accuracy. Minor complaints are the wire isn't incredibly long if you want to use them for PC, and you will also need a audio splitter. The microphone itself is my biggest problem, as it picks up almost everything in your room, so even minor button taps or keyboard strokes will be heard over the microphone.

Bought this headset because I love TB products I have the stealth 700 gen 2 that I also use but wonted a cheaper option to move around with.So plus factors good build quality as you'd expect from TB but bought primarily for the 2 separate wheels 1 for chat 1 for game love this function.Works well for a wired headset.Down sidesThis headset is completely flat sound wise as standard wired but they almost force you to charge this headset to get the better sound from it and yes you heard me correctly this wired headset requires charging.You can use it without but as I've already stated very flat sounding hence forcing you to charge it.Sounds great charged but why????I bought this unit to be wired I didn't wont to have to charge it if I'd wonted this I'd have bought a wireless unit.Downside is if you take off the WIRED headset and forget to turn it off it runs flat then its back to flat audio.Which brings me back to why TB??? keep wired chargeless charging should be for wireless only disappointed with this feature.

I recently purchased the Turtle Beach Recon 200 Gen 2 headset to use with my Xbox Series X, and overall, I'm quite pleased with my purchase. These headphones are incredibly comfortable to wear, even for long periods of time, which is a major plus for me. The audio quality is also quite good, with clear sound and good bass.One feature that I particularly appreciate is the flip-to-mute microphone, which is easy to use and very convenient. It's a nice touch that makes communication during online gaming sessions a lot easier. The controls on the headset are easy to use and provide quick access to volume and microphone settings.The only downside to this headset is that the audio cable is attached and cannot be removed. This means that if the cable gets damaged or broken, the headset will be unusable. However, this is a minor issue and doesn't detract from the overall quality of the product for the price you pay for them.All in all, I would definitely recommend the Turtle Beach Recon 200 Gen 2 headset to any gamer looking for a comfortable, high-quality headset with excellent audio and a convenient flip-to-mute microphone.

Quality is not good
The media could not be loaded. I purchased this headset on 6/6/24 and they’re already broken. They haven’t been dropped or handled rough. This happened from adjusting the headset when they were to tight or loose. They sound good just not made well.

Totalmente recomendables, tiene inhibidor de sonido, y puedes mutear el microfono solo levantandolo. Tiene el volumen ambiental por lo que puedes decidir si estar escuchando el entorno, sirve para no elevar la voz mientras usas el microfono porque escuchas alrededor. Un punto a considerar es que tiene que recargarse, Aunque con poco tiempo que lo cargues te da mucho tiempo de uso si traes apuro. Por lo que no hay que olvidar apagarlos cuando termines de usarlos.En resumen de funcionalidad, estetica, calidad de sonido y habilidad para silencio ambiental le doy un 10. Punto en contra solo que son recargables y tienes que estar pendiente de que si lo usaras ponerlo a cargar. Una carga completa dura varias horas en uso continuo.
