This is a very very hard dog chew and would probably be fine for a larger dog but for my smallish dog it’s not getting any attention

Dogs that like to chew really like these but the fraying means that I remove them before they eat/bite off the little strands. The dogs look really cute when securing the chews between front paws and it's such a pity that they don't last more than a few hours - or am I over-cautious perhaps?
