Dual color scheme is cerry on top for what is a very good pair of speakers. i tested out presonus eris 3.5 and alesis elevate 5 mkII to compare with these as those two were what fits the budget and according to people similar sounding.Right of the bat i would say alesis elevate dont really compare to these two , their sound is all over the place , muffled uncontrolled base not very crisp compared to presonus or edifier mr4when comparing these to presonus 3.5, these are slightly better in all categories especially bass due to having a bigger driver.the sound is a notch fuller and dynamic range is ever so slightly better. at the same price its no brainer mr4 wins but now a days eris 3.5 can be bought for about 75 gbp and these are about 99. to that i would say if you would rather not spend an extra 25 gbp , you will not be missing much.but if you prefer a choice of color scheme a notch better sound (its really not that much in between these two) get the MR4s like me .

The first thing I noticed right out the box is the housing is off white and the front is brilliant white. That was a deal breaker for me, such a simple oversight. The next thing I noticed is the power lead is fixed into the speaker, so no chance of routing that through my stands. Last thing is although they sound good, they felt immediately fatiguing to listen to.Oh one last thing, the volume control is utter rubbish. Jumps up in big increments, it's not very granular.

Can't complain with these speakers. Great sound quality for the price and a surprising amount of sound for the size. My only niggle really is the volume knob. It's not very linear with the loudness. Going through the notches on the volume knob between a 1/4 and 1/2 it goes from almost nothing to pretty loud. Hope they iron this out. Would love to see a 5 inch + version with Bluetooth. Lovely contemporary looking speakers in white. Not noticed and hiss or hum with these even through rca. Highly recommend for gaming, bedroom Dj'ing, watching films.

The most attractive aspect of these speakers is the price. For example, these are around half the price of the iloud micro monitors. They're also really pretty.I already have some desktop speakers, so I didn't need to buy another pair. What attracted me to these was the 'monitor mode', which is supposed to have a little flatter (not wholly) frequency response. Until this point, I've tried speakers (of this pricepoint) and could never enjoy it much. They would always manage to annoy me a bit, such as lacking presence or scooping the mids too much. I am much more comfortable with these speakers. Delay/reverb effects sound very nice, including stacked vocals and whispers. Due to the nice mids, found listening to music such as metal much more pleasant.There's also a music mode, which makes the signature more V-shaped. I imagine that some people may like it more - similar to how popular Bluetooth headphones such as bose, beats, sony etc... don't have flat neutral signatures. I personally don't like the music setting as much, but it's fun to change between the settings, as sometimes, the simpler pop songs may even sound better in the music mode (subjective, obviously). I also found that the music mode also puts the vocals and guitars more forward but makes it a little more tiring and less sweet. You can adjust the trim pots at the back for both settings.I'm not a bass-head at all. I prefer a neutral sound. If sitting them in the middle of the room, it'll obviously sound like there's less bass. However, on a desk with a wall in close proximity, I found myself decreasing the bass a little to prevent the boominess. Of course, you won't get the deep bass, but you'll get sufficient bass from these in my opinion. The imaging is pretty good and impressive at this price point, but expectations still need to be set. Also, you'll also want to be on-axis to the tweeters too.I would consider the monitors fairly light. The low weight adds to its portability and feeling of being small, but when changing modes, turning on/off, this can slide back, which will be a little annoying if you have the speakers set at the perfect position. I do like the inclusion of 3.5mm aux and headphone out jacks. The volume knob is detented, and people often complain about the volume steps being quite large. I do agree, but I personally prefer it that way - for a smooth pot, I generally find myself constantly making micro-adjustments to the volume. With this, I'm basically sticking to the setting I feel is the best suited. There's no Bluetooth, no remote etc... but what's really nice is that holding the volume button turns off the speakers, as opposed to having a switch at the back or auto standby. When off, the light also turns off, so you don't need to be staring at it when in your bed.Overall, I am very happy with these speakers. They make music listening enjoyable for me personally. I think the speakers are very much worth it. Hope this was useful.

While the speakers have limited input/output capabilities (like optical and bluetooth) the sound quality makes up for all that it is lacking.I use it mainly for music and gaming and it performs superbly for both. My previous speakers were the Edifier R1280db's and while I miss the bluetooth functionality I would choose these MR4s over them anytime.

Sin duda alguna, los monitores de audio son maravillosos, tienen una calidad muy buena y la fidelidad de audio es increible.
Caixas de som muito bonitas. Som absurdo.
Apesar da finalidade principal destas caixas ser monitoramento de áudio em estúdios, com entradas balanceadas, eu comprei elas pelo visual bonito e para melhorar o som da TV. E posso dizer que elas são MUITO melhores que qualquer soundbar, claro que não tem graves profundos de subwoofer, mas são mais do que suficientes para assistir filmes em um ambiente pequeno, preenche toda a sala. O destaque são os médios e agudos cristalinos e bem definidos, os diálogos em um filme ou pratos de bateria em músicas ganham outra vida. A saída de fone de ouvido na frente é muito conveniente para ligar rapidamente o fone quando não se pode fazer barulho. Enfim, na minha opinião são caixas acústicas de altíssima qualidade de som e acabamento.

J'ai récemment acheté ces deux enceintes et je suis vraiment impressionnée par leur qualité ! Le son est clair, puissant et bien équilibré, que ce soit pour écouter de la musique ou pour regarder des films. La qualité de fabrication est également remarquable, surtout pour le prix. Elles offrent une excellente performance sans avoir à dépenser une fortune. Je recommande vivement ces enceintes à ceux qui cherchent un bon rapport qualité-prix.
It’s a great pair of budget speakers/studio monitors
I have purchased this for listening to my songs and some youtube. I have no planned on music production r mixing. I thought about audiophile speakers and ediifer 1280DB and finally went with this for the looks and closer to flat eqI am listening to it as NFM with 70-80 cm of distance with a mobile dongle DAC.Sound wise - clarity and staging excellent for the price. Even though the drivers are small, bass is well rounded. Vocals are great and feels like coming from the centre of the speakers. Treble is also better clarity than my Bluetooth soundcore speaker. Basically whatever Bluetooth setup you have, this is a tremendous upgrade for the price.Look wise - really great! There is colour difference of white in the front panel and the side panel.Cons - I have read about hissing sound in various Reddit posts and it is there at any volume levels and audible outside at highest volume level. But I dont think it’s affecting the songs. (I have to only crank up to a maximum of 60-70% for my listening purpose)Conclusion: It’s a good a purchase to anyone who is looking to upgrade from Bluetooth speakers to a wired stereo.

Considerando l'ottimo prezzo hanno davvero una buona qualità. Bello il fatto che abbiano due modalità quella studio e quella per l'ascolto di musica. Non bisogna aspettarsi delle basse profonde e ben definite ma per avere dei subwoofer piccoli devo dire che le basse si percepiscono abbastanza.
