The sound quality was great, but I was hoping to use this for next to my bed to watch TV quieter. There is no volume control for when it turns on and off and it is very loud and plays music at the start even if the volume is turned all the way down. Would probably work for listening to music on the go, but it does not function as a TV sound bar.

My new TV has, like many others, the speakers at the back. As it’s fitted to the wall in my kitchen, and I wear hearing aids, I found it unpleasant and unclear to listen to. This small sound bar is fabulous! The sound is clear and the volume easily adjusted via the TV remote. It has no wires other than the one into the TV headphones port so can be placed conveniently close to the TV. It is recharged as per a mobile phone etc.The one thing I would advise however, is make sure it is turned off when the TV is turned off otherwise, if left on, it looses its charge and subsequently won’t work until re-charged.

We sent this back- it wasn't suitable although our TV is outdated and may not be compatible. It did seem quite large and the voice when turning on/off was irritating.
