I was a bit apprehensive about this speaker but it is amazing - very handy to take out & about with me or to family or friends who don’t have many playlists at a social gathering - it’s waterproof & dust proof too & the battery life is @ 12 hours- so reasonably priced & looks good too

Fed up with listening to music on holiday through my tablet I decided to take the plunge into an area I know little about. Throwing caution to the wind (and google) I eventually went with this Which magazine recommendation. A little pricier than I had intended paying, but as it turned out it was a bargain.What I wasn't expecting from this modest speaker was the massive sound. It can fill a room without being deafening. The sound has warmth, depth, clarity, and if you turn it up it also has a wall wobbling bass. Amazing!Physically it isn't heavy, it has a certain elegance to it, comes in a choice of colours, is waterproof, and is very easy to use.It doesn't come with a travel case, but Bolo have plenty that won't break the bank.All in all a fabulous bluetooth speaker.

My previous portable speaker no longer held a charge so I'd been looking for a suitable replacement for a while. I tried a couple of cheaper BT speakers, but the sound quality and lack of base was awful. They also lacked volume. Then I was at a friends and they were using one of these - I ordered one the following night.Simply put it's a great BT speaker for the price. I use it everywhere - in my office, when travelling and in dance studios. For its size it's loud and has a great base and the quality of the mid and high-tones is excellent.The construction is rugged - the only vulnerable bits are the woofer outputs on the sides, but they're recessed so fairly well protected. My unit has been dropped a couple of times to no harm.Battery life is reasonable - I've used it on long car journeys without problem. The manufacturer's boast 12h. That seems a little high compared to my experience, but I suspect volume levels play a part.Note there's no option to connect with a jack - it's BT only. The only lead it can take is the USB-C charging lead.Would I buy it again? Hell yes! Best I've come across in this price range.

I used to have two Bose bluetooth speakers, because I perceived them as the cream of bluetooth speakers. I was wrong. The most irritating fact was how difficult it was to connect my mobile, to the point that after 20-30 attempts I would just give up and read or work in silence. Also, and how that happened remains a mystery, one of the speakers mis-pronounced my name, by adding a letter to it (?!?) that shouldn’t have been there. The voice stating it is trying to connect was irritating and intrusive.None of that applies to the JBL. You press one button. It switches on. A “ta-da-da” sort of muted sound lets you know that. There is no useless spoken message. A few seconds later another similar sound tells you your device is connected. All you need to do then is press “play”. It has never failed a connection; adding a device is straightforward and easy, with a minimum if steps.Sound quality is excellent, with a sense of space and strength which seem magic for such a compact device. Even at low volume it never sounds tinny or puny. You can turn the sound up or down either from your device or using buttons on the speaker. The bass is reach and creamy, but detail is rendered accurately and at all volume levels.Battery life seems endless. A linear white light indicates the battery status. I have never got even close to draining it, even after days of usage. It recharges fast thru the supplied usb cable. It is sturdy, well built and has a nice cylinder shape that sits well in your hand.In summary, this is all I was hoping it to be; I have gifted one to my brother and I have bought a second one (a smaller model) from JBL, so pleased with it I’ve been. I cannot recommend it highly enough and I genuinely can’t come up with any criticism.

High quality speaker for the price. Easy to connect although it will often prompt you to use that app which is annoying as this isn't necessary. Very durable and portable and produce great sound. Solid performance and easy to play around with the levels.

Good value and more bass than I thought. Battery life is decent and well built too. Better than the many cheaper alternatives. JBL is certainly a brand that speaks quality

Good speaker pretty loud I never use it more than half for just casual daily use. It's good with most music. The reason I bought it is my other speaker was struggling to play metal and hard electronic music with a lot of bass. It's excellent for electronic music obviously not amazing for metal but still very very good. I get to enjoy my music it's just not the most satisfying quality at very loud volumes. I don't regret buying at all though I expected this. It's impossible to expect something so good for this price.

I bought the Beats Pill 2024, then discovered the Flip 6, its a close call but the Flip 6 has the edge on quality of sound, although no integration into Apple or Android apart from a very simple easy to use app allowing EQ customisation. The volume, bass and build quality are outstanding. I put it through its paces listening to SBTRKT and Jimi Hendrix at around 80% volume, this is a very well designed speaker. 10/10

Buen sonido y calidad como nos acostumbra esta marca.
Sonido potente, nítido y con buenos graves para los que nos gusta más esto último. Calidad de construcción.Buena relación precio-calidad. Manejo y posibilidad de mover parámetros desde App. El sonido al encender y apagar es muy agradable y puede quitarse, a diferencia de otras marcas “blancas”, que suena mucho y cansa cada vez que se enciende o apaga.
