    The phone came exactly as described by the seller. Mint condition and specs match the title of the article (128 GB storage, 6 GB RAM). Screen seems to scratch quite easily, but this is inherent to the material, so I recommend getting a screen protector before start using the phone.

    Is not a repair shop in UK if something happens to the phone that the user cannot repair to itself. The process of communicating with Fairphone is very slow. The process of sending the phone to repair through UPS courier is DAUNTING at the very least. I don’t recommend to buy this phone at the moment till those things improve a lot or change. But if anyone wants to, consider to pay a protection insurance coverage for the phone and check and ask in advance go will take of the repair process. Package and printed or non printed labels, fees, time estimated etc. Without having another smartphone as back up in the meantime, again, I don’t recommend to buy this phone. Anyway. To anyone who think about buy things from a mobile provider with a SIM contract, be aware that people will inflate the original price of the Fairphone for get their profit. Check your options before you have to expend months in anguish being accused of having broke your phone in purpose so companies will don’t pay for the repair, all this takes a lot of time to proof this and that. I wish luck for Fairphone because their phones are good. Just not very much if is not a repair shop near you or not even in the same country. Also, consider to check Facebook marketplace and second hand shops near you in case at some point you want to sell the phone. Because is actually no demand for it. I am really sorry Fairphone, perhaps one day it will be a demand of your brand.

    Nach fast zwei Jahren Nutzung kann ich folgendes sagen : viel zu teuer für das was es ist.Der Akku war im ersten Jahr super (trotz mehrfacher Nutzung von Google Maps, Spotify, WhatsApp, Streaming Dienst App am Abend noch etwas 30-40 Prozent Akku).Kaum ein Jahr alt, hebt der Akku nur noch einen halben Tag ohne das Benutzen oben genannter Apps. Bei zweimaligen Nachfragen bei dem Support von Fairphone wollte man mir trotz 5 jähriger Garantie keinen Ersatz schicken, sondern immer nur dass ich Apps lösche oder mal auf die Hintergrundprozesse schaue. Dabei habe ich das bereits auch im ersten Jahr regelmäßig gemacht und geprüft.Telefonie: Lautsprech Option funktioniert oft nicht richtig und generell ist das Telefonieren mit diesem Handy einfach nur ätzend, weil es dauernd spinnt.Kamera ok, aber für die Preisklasse echt nicht der Hit.Updates haben funktioniert und weil der Akku im ersten Jahr super war, gibt es einen Stern.Ansonsten gibt es wirklich Besseres für weniger Geld.

    Gutes Android Handy ohne Spielereien

    Ich nutze mein Smartphone hauptsächlich als Benachrichtungszentrum: Anrufe, Whatsapp, Signal, Teams, Mails, Kalender usw. alles auf einen Blick in einem Gerät. Dazu kommt noch gelegentlich Bilder machen (hauptsächlich für die Arbeit Sachen dokumentieren) und im Internet schnell was nachschauen.Für mich ist daher ein Smartphone ohne Spielereien wie Sprachassistent oder irgendwelchen angepassten Oberflächen wichtig.Da mein letztes Smartphone wegen fehlender Sicherheitsupdates nach gerade mal 3 Jahren in Rente gehen musste, war mir auch ein Hersteller mit langer Update-Garantie wichtig.In der engeren Auswahl standen für mich dann das Google Pixel 7 oder das Fairphone.Beide laufen mit Standard Android ohne größere Anpassungen und beide garantieren 5 Jahre Updates.Das Fairphone hat für mich schlussendlich gewonnen, da es leichter reparierbar ist, falls der Akku kaputt geht oder ich das Display zerbreche. Außerdem wirbt es (wie im Name schon steckt) mit einer nachhaltigen Produktion.Akkulaufzeit ist für mich top, ich komme durch bis zu 2 Arbeitstage mit einem vollgeladenen Akku.Die Kamera macht gute Bilder. Apps und Browser lassen sich flüssig ohne merkliche Ladezeiten bedienen.Der Fingerabdrucksensor am Ein-Knopf ist für meine Gewohnheiten leider nicht gut geeignet. Ich hatte mir bei meinem alten Smartphone angewohnt immer wieder mal den Ein-Knopf zu drücken um Benachrichtigungen am Sperrbildschirm zu lesen. Das geht jetzt nicht mehr so leicht, da der integrierte Fingerabdrucksensor sofort versucht das Smartphone zu entsperren und ich dadurch teilweise direkt am Home-Screen lande.Außerdem ist das Smartphone aufgrund seiner reparierbaren Bauweise recht dick mit 12mm und es fühlt sich deutlicher schwerer an als vergleichbare Smartphones.Sicherheitsupdates kommen regelmäßig, große Android-Updates kommen aber etwa um ein Jahr verzögert. Wie gesagt, wer die neuesten Spielereien nicht braucht, für den ist das kein Problem.Für alle die ein Smartphone brauchen, das einfach nur funktionieren soll, dem würde ich ein Fairphone empfehlen.

    Ich nutze das Geräte jetzt seit ein paar Monaten. Insgesamt bin ich zufrieden. Allerdings ist es ein Mittelklassegerät zu einem Highend Preis. Das Display reagiert meistens zuverlässig ist aber nur LCD. Die Helligkeit im Freien könnte besser sein. AOD gibt es nicht da LCD und nicht OLED. Der Fingerabdrucksensor ist in Ordnung. Das Ganze läuft mit Android pur. Es gibt keine GUI oben drauf. Die Kamera hat keinen Stabilisator. Filme sind fast nicht ohne Wackler aufzunehmen. Die Kamera fällt bei schwachem Licht stark ab. Artefakte sind dann die Regel. Einen Nachtmodus gibt es nicht. Bei aller Nachhaltigkeit werde ich mir den Nachfolger wahrscheinlich nicht mehr kaufen.

    Abwarten, ob es hält, was es verspricht...

    Es war eine gut überlegte, bewusste Entscheidung genau dieses Smartphone zu kaufen, obwohl es viele andere, weitaus preiswertere Smartphones gibt. Ob und wie nachhaltig Fairphone wirklich ist, kann ich noch nicht einschätzen. Die Tasten zum Öffnen und zur Lautstärke-Regelung reagieren schwer, nach mehrfachem Drücken, das nervt!
