5.0 out of 5 stars Good product

Bought this for my daughter to help dry her washing (new baby!) . Works well and drys fairly quickly depending on amount in the dryer. I have a similar dryer and personally mine is a better design for hanging space, this I find this product has wasted space at the top where clothes could hang. Just my opinion. Having said that, it does the job well and not noticeable on the electric bill! I would have bought her the same as mine, but she wanted a white one not blue!!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Good... If you use it properly

Right. Bare with me. When you assemble this airer there are plastic/silicon bits on the three legs that connect onto the motor bit. I initially assembled this with this silicon bits in....the airer kept falling over and the legs were falling off and despite being on for FIVE HOURS my washing didn't dry. When I got home (very angry might I add). I bravely took off all the washing and checked the legs were attached properly as I read online that the motor doesn't work well if the legs are not attached properly. Anyway I took these silicon bits out. The legs slotted in perfectly. The airer then stood properly and wasn't rickety at all. I put the washing back on and covered it in the tent. The tent immediately inflated like I have seen it in pictures/videos... it has been on for maybe an hour? Washing is pretty much completely, perfectly dry. So yeah I don't know what the instructions say but if yours isn't working well I would recommend triple checking the legs are all the way in as Apparently that makes all the difference.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good but a bit fiddly to put up

Bought this as I’ve heard so many people rave about heated airers and I hate having washing hanging around the flat all the time as it takes ages to dry in winter.TL;DR version - updated 2024: at first I wished I’d paid more and bought a tiered heated airer, but if you’re happy to leave this one up all the time it’s good - it’s just the faff of setting up and taking down that’s a pain.Positives: This one is pretty compact, fairly quiet and very simple to operate. I did one load of washing and hung around 12 items on it, they took about 4-5 hours to dry fully (but even then a couple of items like jumpers needed a bit longer so I hung them out as usual on a normal airer). It heats up instantly and you can choose between a timer or just ‘on’ so long as you remember to switch it off!Negatives: for something so simple, it is so hard to put together. It just doesn’t screw together easily (I got stuck multiple times) and now I can’t unscrew it. Which means I can’t put it back in its box to store (or return it, which I did consider at one point!). Think it’s just very poorly/cheaply made but it’s such a shame as it would otherwise be a doddle to use.The cable is also ridiculously short. Given that you have to have it in a ventilated area and set away from the wall, this was very limiting. I had to use an extension lead to set it up safely. It doesn’t hold as much as I’d hoped. I’m going to look at buying some smaller hangers but I hung around two on each spike and that was more than enough - otherwise they’re touching and therefore won’t dry.Overall a bit disappointed as I hoped it would work faster and be simple to put up and take down.UPDATE x2: I used a bit of WD40 on the screw-in fittings and it’s improved slightly. Still awkward but better! Also pleased to find I can hang a duvet / bed sheet over the whole thing, then put the cover over, and it dries super fast. The cover lifts a little with the heat so there’s room for it to dry. Also in the winter I’ve used it so much that I just leave it set up - much less faff and easier to quickly hang things without putting it together. Overall getting used to it but just wish it was a little less awkward and had a little more capacity! It takes time to dry but is so much better than having airers up for days.

5.0 out of 5 stars Efficient airing

Cheap way to air/dry laundry. Easy to assemble and efficient

3.0 out of 5 stars It's average at best

Works great as an extra method of drying clothes during the winter. Can't load it up fully as the clothes don't dry properly even after having it on for 4 hours. Centre pole is flimsy and won't hold up a jumper to be dried or it goes lopsided. Quite loud too and need to open windows to avoid condensation. It does heat up the room slightly which is a bonus .

5.0 out of 5 stars Epic dryer, epic price.

What's not to like? My second encounter with a DriBuddi, and just as pleasant as the first, which was a housemates many moons ago.The length of time this product have been retailed for is testament to the demand and quality such a product derives and more importantly delivers.Dries clothes very quickly and effectively without the associated damage from tumble drying, it also helps to reduce the load of ironing as many creases that would result from tumble trying simply don't occur. For the price, it's unbeatable over the winter months when drying clothes outdoors is impractical/impossible.Highly recommended to anyone whom wants an easier workload with regard to washing and less damage from traditional drying methods.
