    I love this bookcase for my little boy. It was a little tricky to assemble and I sometimes found it easier to use my common sense instead of strictly following the instructions but it’s very sturdy and holds a good amount of books. I bought the storage cube from Wilko for £3.99 and used some patterned adhesive paper on the panel at the front. My only complaint is that the shelves are quite deep so smaller books can’t be seen, I solved this by padding the bottom of the shelves out with the polystyrene from the box.

    Take your time to read through the instructions to assemble this. Wasn’t the easiest of instructions to follow, it’s all pictures and it’s hard to see what hole they want you to put the stew in as there’s a lot! Finally got it assembled and it looks great. Very sturdy as my 11 month old is testament to that, (I’ve caught her pulling herself up on it.) and looks lovely in the playroom. Nice that the books are displayed so you can see the front cover, this has made my 3 year old discover her old books that we haven’t read in a while.
