This body butter works really well. I put it on my feet and after a few days they were much softer. The smell and colour are unique and lovely. Will be buying again when on offer

I have the Sweet Pomegranate fragrance in this Ame Super Smoothing Pure Body Butter For Dry Skin. I would say it is more of a body cream than body butter which I like as it sinks into my skin really easily. It is contained in a branded plastic jar and has an inner reusable lid. There is 200ml in the jar and the active ingredient is jojoba. The cream is pink and disappears really well when you rub it in leaving a faint light fruity fragrance on my skin. The ingredients are listed on a label on the bottom of the jar. Unfortunately this has a sticky label on the top of the jar on the mirror surfaced lid. I cannot get this sticker off and it has made a mess on the lid. Due to this I would not leave the jar out on my dressing table nor give it as a gift. I think when you pay this much for a body cream a sticky label on the lid is really not acceptable. This does not impinge on the body butter itself which I like very much although it is definitely not as heavy as I expected.

OMG! Even as I sit here typing this, I can smell this lotion on my skin and it smells amazing! 😊🥰. I absolutely love the scent and feel of this moisturizer; it makes my skin look, smell and feel beautiful.What I LOVE the most about this lotion: 😃The scent is gorgeous! It has a fresh, almost tropical scent to it. Kind of like the sun cream I used when I was younger. The smell makes me think of summertime. 😃Super creamy texture 😃Absorbs into the skin super fast 😃The scent lingers for hours, and doesn’t interfere with my perfume (if I choose to put any on). Wow this is very pink! It's also very heavily scented - it looks and even smells incredibly sweet. If I'm honest I'm struggling to get past the scent.The cream contains all the usual goodies - jojoba, sunflower and avocado, it's Vegan and cruelty free, but I can't see pomegranate listed anywhere in the ingredients so I guess it's only pomegranate scented. The cream is thick, feels rich and with my ageing skin now tending to dryness I was pleased that it went on easily and absorbed quickly, but I can't say I like the lingering sweet scent.At £19.90 for 200ml (as at 2 February 2024) I think this is about the right price to pay, but the scent alone means it just isn't for me.

My partner suffers with dry skin, especially during winter months and has tried a variety of creams with varying degrees of success. This Ame pure body butter is supplied as a 200ml tub and is easy to apply. There are three fragrance types to choose from including the sweet Pomegranate which I ordered which has a very pleasant aroma. My partner is very pleased with how effective this body butter has been after using it for a few weeks. She has noticed that her skin in better hydrated and and she has not had any adverse skin reaction having used this body butter on a daily basis. Recommended.

A little goes a long way with this one - its expensive so that's a good thing. The actual feel of the cream is very luxe, but the packaging let's it down a little bit on that front - it could be more luxurious and classy. But the proof is in the testing and the cream is gorgeous. It rubs in well - not too quickly and doesn't leave an oily or greasy afterglow either and my skin felt instantly hydrated and softer after application. The scent wasn't overpowering and was gently fruity - I'm okay with that as I like to use my regular perfume anyway and don't want my moisturising cream to overpower it.

This large tub arrived wrapped in bubble wrap with hygiene stickers securing the lid.The pot design looks a bit posh :) - I'd happily leave it on view in the bathroom.On opening, the cream was a surprisingly bright pink tone! I'd say the consistency is a little like nivea cream - not too thick and not slimy/oily and when I applied it. It went into my skin well with no lingering stickiness to affect clothes, or bedsheets if used in the evening.The scent when you first open the jar is quite apparent - it's a pleasant smell and reminded me a bit of fruity sherbet. On the skin it's not so strong but I'd use it if I'm staying home, say a Sunday after-bath treat, and sleep in it rather than when going out so it wouldn't clash with my perfume. I do like the smell though - it's a 'happy' smell and with the pink colour it feels a bit joyful to use!It's not the cheapest body cream/butter out there but it's a good sized pot, with some nice ingredients and a little went a long way.
