    After using the Sony A7IV for a few months, I feel like I can write a review about it. I recently began my photography journey, and I thought this camera would serve as a good entry-level gear. The first thing that struck me was its stunning image quality. The 33-megapixel sensor captures details with incredible clarity, delivering lifelike images that astound me every time.One of the standout features for me is the lightning-fast autofocus. The autofocus and tracking capabilities are phenomenal. Whether I'm shooting portraits or fast-moving subjects, the A7IV locks onto the subject with precision, ensuring every shot is tack-sharp.Video capabilities are also impressive. The 4K recording at 60fps combined with the in-body stabilization produces smooth, professional-grade footage. It's like having a compact cinema camera in your hands.One caveat, however, is the kit lens that comes with the camera. Kit lenses deliver average-quality images (see my sample photos), so keep in mind that you may need to invest in a better lens. But the kit lens does the job.Overall, the Sony A7IV exceeds expectations. Whether you're a professional photographer or an enthusiast looking to elevate your photography game (like me), this camera is a worthy investment. It's versatile, powerful, and a true joy to use. Highly recommended!

    Second a7 iv I've owned and wish I never sold the first after rebuying. Great quality product, better size grip than the 3. Impressive auto focus, 10fps (6fps in uncompressed raw) which is fast enough for me. Not really a beginner camera in terms of ease of use but always something new to discover. Great value with the kit lens, however you will want decent glass to get the most from this camera. Highly recommend

    After moving to the Sony FX3 for video, I decided to switch to Sony for photography, and well, wow!This is a fantastic camera, I’m using it currently with the standard f1.8 38mm lens and the f1.4 85mm g-master lens and I’m blown away, even with the “standard lens”, but stick a g master lens and it goes up another 10 notches in image quality.It’s not cheap, but it is very good. The eye tracking is decent and can make it easier to get in focus shots, especially if the subject is moving, I’ve used it with human and dog subjects and it really has performed well.You don’t get much in the box, the charger, a strap and a battery, I opted for body only since I had lenses for the FX3 and wasn’t interested in the kit lens since I mostly use prime lenses.It’s not light by any stretch, but it feels sturdy with a metal housing and exudes quality.It can take a full size SD card (just make site it’s fast enough) and also cfexpress type a cards, so there’s options there as well.

    Works well. Good size and comfortable to use. Focuses well and has facial tracking. ISO good, noise doesn't creep in until around the 5000 mark but noise reduction can easily fix that. Good value for money.

    In the official product listing for this camera it claims “We have improved the dust and moisture resistance of the a7 IV to provide outstanding reliability even in challenging outdoor shooting environments.” with an image showing new seals.My camera had a single tiny drop of rain land on it, and a dial stopped working despite it being one with "improved seals".This camera is not moisture resistant and certainly not reliable under challenging outdoor shooting environments! Which is a shame because it's otherwise a good camera.

    Die Sony Alpha 7 IV hat mich wirklich begeistert! Erstmal fühlt sie sich unglaublich robust an – und das kann ich aus eigener Erfahrung bestätigen. Sie hat bereits ein paar Stürze aus etwa einem Meter Höhe problemlos überlebt, was für mich ein klares Zeichen für Qualität ist.Was die Bildqualität angeht, bin ich absolut sprachlos. Der Dynamikumfang, die Schärfe – alles auf einem Level, das meine Erwartungen übertroffen hat. Die Bilder, die ich damit mache, sind einfach atemberaubend. Da bleibt kein Wunsch offen.Natürlich muss man sagen: So viel Qualität hat ihren Preis. Die Kamera ist definitiv im oberen Preissegment angesiedelt. Wer bereit ist, so viel Geld zu investieren, bekommt dafür aber auch eine unglaubliche Performance.Im Vergleich dazu: Mit meinem iPhone 15 Pro Max mache ich auch tolle Bilder, und wenn man das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis betrachtet, kann das iPhone wirklich gut mithalten. Klar, die Bildqualität der Alpha 7 IV ist nochmal deutlich besser – gerade, wenn es um Details und professionelle Ansprüche geht. Aber das iPhone kostet eben auch nur etwa die Hälfte und liefert für den Alltag wirklich beeindruckende Ergebnisse.Für mich als Hobbyfotograf reicht es, einfach draufzudrücken, und die Alpha 7 IV liefert fantastische Bilder. Aber ich bin mir sicher, dass Profis mit dieser Kamera noch viel mehr rausholen können. Das Potenzial ist enorm, besonders für alle, die wirklich in die Tiefe der Fotografie eintauchen wollen.

    J'utilise le Sony Alpha 7 IV depuis presque un an, et il a largement surpassé mes attentes, tant en photographie qu'en vidéo. Au début, j'ai rencontré un léger problème de chauffe, mais après avoir ajusté un paramètre, le souci a été résolu de manière efficace.La qualité d'image est tout simplement remarquable, avec des détails nets et des couleurs éclatantes. En mode vidéo, la fluidité des séquences et la richesse des détails capturés sont impressionnantes. Le capteur performant associé à une gamme d'objectifs compatibles offre une polyvalence exceptionnelle pour diverses situations de prise de vue.La prise en main est intuitive, et la construction solide du boîtier inspire confiance. Les commandes sont bien disposées, facilitant l'ajustement rapide des paramètres, et l'écran tactile est un atout précieux.Après avoir résolu le problème de chauffe, la performance générale de l'appareil s'est révélée fiable et constante. Que ce soit pour des clichés en basse lumière, des portraits détaillés ou des vidéos professionnelles, le Sony Alpha 7 IV excelle dans tous les domaines.En conclusion, malgré le petit hic initial, le Sony Alpha 7 IV se positionne comme un choix exceptionnel pour les passionnés de photographie et de vidéographie.     Impossibile lamentarsene! Scalda un pochino in modalità scatto silenzioso e lo schermo risulta un po’ scomodo se staccato rispetto al corpo macchina ma ci si abitua! Grip ottimo (mi preoccupava molto avendo le mani grandi ed essendo abituato alle reflex) e peso del corpo macchina molto basso rispetto a quello a cui ero abituato. Macchina fantastica sotto ogni punto di vista, dalla messa a fuoco, la stabilizzazione, la resa dell’immagine (anche ad iso alti) a prova di obiettivo in kit: farebbe belle foto anche con un fondo di bottiglia montato sopra!

Bei schlechten Lichtverhältnissen zeigt sie ihre wahre Stärke – das Rauschen bleibt minimal.Die Autofokus-Funktionen sind ein echtes Highlight. Sie sind schnell, präzise und bieten viele Anpassungsmöglichkeiten, was besonders bei Sport- und Wildlife-Aufnahmen nützlich ist.Auch die Videoqualität ist beeindruckend. 4K-Aufnahmen sind gestochen scharf und die Farben wirken natürlich.
