Thought it would be just another kitchen gadget that would disappoint but not the case. I works and works well, also simple and easy to use and clean. It also seems well built.Yes I would recommend.

This is my new favourite at the moment, easy to use, clean and takes up little room. I found the length of the fitted mains lead was not a problem and it stands on my worktop with no loose lead to get tangled up in. I had no issues with the top lid and was able to wedge it back with no issues whilst I cracked the egg into the top compartment. Get the correct size bun or as some have suggested a biscuit cutter and use a normal piece of bread. I tried it with a small bread roll and although it was Ok the bacon and cheese was external to the perimeter of the roll messy but delicious nevertheless Secondly this unit gets very hot so get your oven glove or glove before opening after use. There is no timer to this unit so I just leave it for 4 or 5 minutes and this suits me. The unit dismantles easily for cleaning merely lift parts out with the lid raised.

Fast delivery and couldn’t wait to try it. There was a variety of recipes and different sandwich ideas in the back of the manual. It cooked the eggs and toasted the muffins perfectly (to my liking anyway) I found it easy ti use and easy to clean. I will be using this a lot to batch cook & meal prep my breakfast muffins. It’s a shame it only does just one at a time.

There's much to say about this gadget.First it's a great idea, second it is neat, smart, solid & in no way a flimsy machine.The slide /side shelf is genius & works well, without leaks.Those are the positives but sorry to say the negatives outweigh them.First thing to notice the short 21 inch cable , this is fine for those who have convenient socket placements, I don't so an extension has to be used, meaning more clutter.Second....... the lid is sprung & cannot be left open when putting in the ingredients, this means cracking an egg into a cup first, then whilst holding the lid up with one hand you can pour in the egg with the other, This holding the lid also means removing the food single handed... which is not easy.Third.........the lid does not close properly, as seen in my blurry photo, so heat is lost....meaning the egg takes longer to cook , I placed my plate on the lid to weight it down, but this is not satisfactory.Fourth, the heat is nothing like enough, even if you leave it for much longer than the publicised 5 minutes , that's simply not true, to get toasted roll/bread it takes far too longFive.....by the time the egg white is slowly cooked the yolk is hard.Six.......... you cannot make a pancake in either top or bottom because only the bottom plate is hot enough, then only the base cooks & because of the lack of real heat it comes out leathery.Seven........what a shame they didn't make it Hamburger roll size, it's just too small for them, I had to cut one down. I did use a muffin for one breakfast but it did not toast.EDIT: ................. I did decide to return this item , but whilst I stand by all I've said, the heating problem maybe [?] due to the fact the gadget came with a UK plug so I had to use an EU adapter, added to which the short cable length meant a plug extension......both could have reduced power ?Bolo & the manufacturer have been very helpful................................

Used only once then trashed it. Burnt my hand on lid trying to put egg in, nothing stops the lid from closing. Utter rubbish, don't waste your money. No stars if it was possible.

The media could not be loaded. 8.5/10 easy, convenient, nice small size, the width of a standard bread bun and stands less than 6 inches high, a great buy for lazy me when we go motor homing, as I usually wait for my young lady to get up and cook my breakfast. But now I have eaten and cleaned up before she's up, so great bonus.Once you have worked out your procedures and made sure you have all your contents on hand before starting it is a dream machine. Only use wooden spatchelor with it, for guiding the bun out in one and also puncturing the egg yolk before you cook it. (PS, I do not usually use salt but as my Muffins were a little on the sweeter side I added a touch of Salt to the egg and Pepper on my Pre-cooked Ham). ONLY use pre-cooked meats, thin sausage patties are lovely on this too!Be careful with hot surfaces, allow to cool before cleaning. Egg residue was left on hot plate but relatively easy to clean off.Allow to cool and wipe plates and edges of the unit with Kitchen Roll.Some people say its expensive, maybe a little, but this is made up in the convenience it gives and that your breakfast Muffin/Bun is more or less sealed an NOT messy.

Bought as a gift for my dad. He’s had some good experiences so far. It’s a good price for what you get and a nice compact size. Easy to clean and whilst there is the odd leakage, it heats food beautifully.

Versatile and handy
I bought this as a Christmas present for my son. Even though it comes with a UK plug, I was able to pick up a travel plug adaptor to convert to Australian sockets, from the local OTR petrol station. It does a fantastic sausage and egg McMuffin, and lots more. I use baking paper on top and bottom plates, to reduce cleaning. Love it!

Lid etc won't stay open when adding egg/ingredients
Lid doesn't stay open or all the plates when adding ingredients so very fiddly to add especially egg. Most ingredients have to be precooked. Very fiddly. Not worth the purchase.
