The media could not be loaded. I've got to say how impressed I am with this Interactive Periodic Table 'wall' chart! I wish that I'd have had one of these when I was a little nipper as I'd have surely been more interested in a science when at school!It's larger than I expected, much larger which is most excellent! It requires 3x triple A batteries which are provided in the box. The instructions are in English but I promise you you won't need them as it is so straight forward to operate successfully after only a few minutes of initial play, honestly it's really easy to use and very, very child friendly!It's interactive nature comes from the touch sensitive, interactive pads that encapsulate the electronic interior of this really sturdy yet flexible and beautifully made item! It's so good, I found that I spent almost an hour doing the numerous quizzes that are already pre-programmed and are instantly ready for you!There's a setting that allows pre-programmed music to be played which is aimed at children, it's like nursery rhyme music. It's quite cute!You have a volume control which is useful.You are asked to identify elements. You touch the requested element and a female voice explains some basics about said element, it's brilliant! The speaker system offers a very crisp and understandable explanation! It looks aesthetically lovely and feels well made.It has a small notch located on the rear of the control panel allowing you to hang it all up on a flat surface. Not only does this allow you to view all of the tables contents clearly but it acts as a decorative piece of wall art, its great!As an interactive educational tool (I worked as a teaching assistant for some years) this is excellent! I worked with SEN children and I'm positive that if I'd have had this for my group sessions, the children would have benefitted more!I actually can't fault the price being asked for this! It's sturdy enough to allow a school class to use this regularly! The sellers description detailing its functions are correct. I respectfully disagree with some reviews that mention faults with its touch recognition! I had no such issues!It is brilliant! I highly recommend and in fact have already made a separate purchase

The media could not be loaded. Best Learning periodic table comes boxed and folds out to 30x70x5.3 centimetres and is bright and colourful and interesting in appearance.This is an interactive mat which can be used on the floor or a tabletop. It requires 3x AAA batteries to operate that are included in the box so it's good to go.There are all of the 118 elements of the periodic table identified and if you touch each one it gives you details such as atomoic number, atomic ma's etc and this is also written on each element to see visually.There is information on each element and group and there are learning, and quiz modes to interact and learn more about the elements.I loved chemistry at school and would have loved this if it was available.Two things I feel need to be noted, the ages are 5 to 12 years of age but I feel it is most suited to the older and not younger age range, but just my opinion and also note the voice is American and speech is quite fast so it's a struggle sometimes to understand what's being spoken, again it's just my opinion.

The media could not be loaded. The main mat measures 89.5x60cm, so a large space is required to use. But this means that the written information is clear and easy to read. The volume buttons have come in really handy and hints are given if you get a question wrong in a quiz, even comes with batteries. This is an incredible learning resource with facts, quizzes and lots of detail.

I got this periodic table poster for my 8-year-old son who likes to learn. He loves it giving it a 5-star rating.It is a touch mat style poster with a battery component part with a speaker at the top. It takes 3*AAA batteries, with three new AAA batteries included. Behind the speaker part is a hole to hang this on a nail on the wall if you want, or you can lay it on the floor and play with it that way. The touch mat bit of it works well. When we touch an element it registers that element.There are a few modes to this:* Free mode where you can just click on the elements or groups and be told a little about them, although the elements all have the same info – element name, chemical symbol, atomic number and atomic mass.* Quiz mode, either about the elements, the groups, or some fun facts.* Song mode about the elements, although not the famous elements song by Tom Lehrer, a different not-as-good one with the lyrics provided on one of the inserts that comes with this set.* Also there are volume up and down buttons, and a repeat button if you want a question repeated.Some questions may be harder than others, but after a wrong answer you get a hint, and then if you get it wrong again it tells you the answer. The voice is a lady-voice and uses the American pronunciations (e.g. Aluminium).What would my son change about it:He would change the song and the voice, to make it more clear.And what would I change about it:I would move it out of the living room and into his bedroom because when he plays with it, it makes lots of noise.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Essential for the classroom
I had been searching for a periodic table to add to my homeschool classroom. This is Perfect! My child is able to interact and even play games and quizzes on it. This makes it much easier to learn. Everything is in working order so far and it’s great! I need to see what else this shop has!
Feels really durable
The buttons work well, it’s smooth and very informational. The mat it’s self is well made and the sound is very clear.
It was just ok
I like the idea of this but it felt flimsy. Some of the quiz questions gave the answer away in the question itself.
