Built in the paradise mountains of the Black Forest, it offers an incomparable home for all nature lovers who want to relax and just want to let their soul dangle. Not only do people feel comfortable, but also the animals. In addition to the cute St Bernard, the owl, a rabbit and two sheep are also a guest. In the middle of summer, the incomparable scene of green grass and colourful flowers invites all animals to stay there.
This exclusive Black Forest Clock from the Black Forest Palace is equipped with a quartz movement and is finished with a bell tower. All parts are hand carved and created to perfection in the Black Forest.
The cuckoo clock has a light sensor that automatically switches off the hourly calling cuckoo as well as the music as soon as it gets dark. The cuckoo calls the current time hourly, after which 1 of 12 varied traditional music pieces is automatically played:

Lovely clock, keeps time accurately. The music gets annoying but that can be switched off. The cuckoo even opens its gob when it's squawking. Nice touch.

Under close inspection the glue used to fix the animals is visible and poor. One of them fell off. Upon delivery the hands of the clock were not on the clock face. They were found within the packaging and the clock itself! It keeps good time and the chimes are pleasant but be aware it is fragile.

We tried two cheaper model coo coo clocks. BOTH were defective. This one, made in Germany, was WELL WORTH the little bit more we paid. They took a lot of time making very good details, and hand packed each pieces separately. It comes with a gold seal of inspection, and the persons name who did the quality control inspection. We were very impressed. I am still working to learn how to set the chime to work on the right hour, bur its quality, workmanship and beauty are significant . Very refreshing to see such quality these days. We would buy another one in the future...

Allora io non capisco tante recensioni a 5 stelle , di cucù foresta nera questo orologio non ha niente . Tutto finto legno mi ha deluso totalmente, non vale neanche la metà dei soldi pagato, non lo rimandato indietro solo perché piacevano le musichettehai miei bambini. Il venditore lo descrive come un gioiello non e altro che un giocattolo. I veri orologi a cucù sono ben altro. Se potevo mettere zero stelle era già molto .

We got this cuckoo because we couldn't get one when we were in Germany. the clock is so beautifully made. the details, the color, the sound, the cuckoo and the traditional music it has! wow! its very well made. we are very happy with our purchase!
