5.0 out of 5 stars A quality portable tenkeyless keyboard
This review is of the wireless keyboard with dongle (732B). Note that there is no Bluetooth and no support for multiple devices (other than moving the dongle around ...).This is a well-made keyboard. It is solid with - it would seem - a metal plate inside, a slight (non-adjustable) tilt and a pleasing although not particularly quiet action with scissor keys, large keycaps in a clear font and a bright white backlight (either on or off, using Fn-F10) with a little light leakage at the bottom of some keys. There are no oddly shaped or positioned keys, as there is a large Enter key, a large right Shift key and the space bar is the length of five normal keys and, in fact, the layout is exactly the same as that of my Dell Latitude. The function keys double as media controls or laptop screen brightness (Fn-F1 and Fn-F2) so the last have no effect on an external monitor unless you are lucky enough to have one which has an implementation of E-DDC which works. The Windows or Mac key is labelled Start. There are tiny green LEDs for Caps Lock, Fn Lock and charging (red when charging, green when charged); there is an equally small metal on-off slider to help save battery power. There is a covered recess on the back to store the USB-A dongle, an often-omitted useful feature.Charging is via a USB-C port at the top of the keyboard, and my only (minor) qualm is that a full charge takes a long time - six hours is quoted, and that is about what I find. However, the keyboard can be used while charging. As the backlighting doesn't display it and there is no keyboard software, there is no way of determining the charge level if not fully charged. However, a simple battery saver is that, when backlighting is on, it automatically switches off if a key isn't pressed for 30 seconds then on when the next key is pressed. As often happens, there is a flimsy charging cable provided, but most people will have far better cables lying around.I did, for a time, note that the keyboard seemed to take too long to wake up and missed the first character, which was a nuisance when logging in as the password ended up wrong, but that issue seems to have gone away for some reason. On first use I simply plugged the dongle in, switched the keyboard on and started typing. Excellent stuff.
5.0 out of 5 stars Really nice little keyboard
I've had a wireless keyboard from a major brand for the last couple of years and stupidly broke it, but instead of replacing it with another £70-80 keyboard I thought why don't I try something cheaper. This is USB rather than wireless but I thought well a bit of cable doesn't really matter. And it's such a nice keyboard to use - lovely chiclet style keys - with a good amount more travel on them than "laptop style" chiclet keyboards, although less than trad mechanical keyboards. A nice compromise which is great to type on. Backlight works well. The whole thing feels very solidly made - chuffed for £25 quid or so.
4.0 out of 5 stars Love it but the extension is essential
I really like this keyboard. The keys are nice and low, it’s the perfect size whilst also having arrow keys, and the backlight is a nice feature.I have had this keyboard for just over a year now and always had the extension plugged into the back of my computer on the floor, and had it resting on the desk so the signal reaches the keyboard. Recently my set up has changed and I now plug the usb into my monitor. I took off the extension because the keyboard is close to the monitor at all times and I wanted a tidier desk. Unfortunately the signal is no good even with this small distance, the keyboard lags or simply does not work, so I have the use the extension lead which kind of bugs me.Other than that, it’s a great keyboard.
5.0 out of 5 stars Needed a keyboard that felt good and I could use when acting as a cat bed
I had a full-size wireless keyboard attached to a laptop in my living room, the lack of cabling made locating it easier, but the size was awkward when you have 3 cats who like sitting on your lap/chair arms etc and you are trying to type anything. Deciding that this was worth a try as I have another set up at a desk for serious work I thought for any short typing, no matter how bad, this would be tolerable. I am very pleasantly surprised at how good this is, it is a nice compact size but the keys are full sized and feel very nice in operation. I like the extra ports on the back and the presence of adjustable feet. I am a big person with large hands and once I got used to not having the extended part of the board, cursor keys and number pad, I am more than happy, it's also quite quiet in operation, unlike a lot of the gaming style boards knocking about. The cats are still a nuisance but this at least can be slotted in somewhere for use and is actually allowing me to enjoy a little gaming while I am at it. Very good competent all round keyboard and a great way to save space.
Lo recomiendo!
The media could not be loaded. He estado buscando un buen teclado pequeño durante mucho tiempo.Aunque es de tamaño pequeño, permanece en su lugar cuando escribe.El precio es aceptable.
