    We bought this set for a children’s escape room party so that the kids could see how long was left, without using technology. The timers were an ideal size and the difference colours looked great. They were accurate to within a few seconds, fairly durable and the overall quality was very good. Super value for money.

    TL;DRThese lightweight sand timers are bright and colourful. Most of the timers are within 5 seconds of the time they're supposed to keep, but the 10-minute timer is way off. It jumps from 9:47 to 12:22, depending on which way up it is!REVIEWThese sand timers are lightweight but don't feel cheap or especially fragile, which was a nice surprise. There are 6 in total:- 30 seconds (black)- 1 minute (blue)- 2 minutes (pink)- 3 minutes (yellow)- 5 minutes (green)- 10 minutes (red)I like how bright/colourful the sand timers are and the fact that they're labelled clearly (the label is only on one side). The sand matches the colour of the timer for all of them except the 30-second timer; it's white sand in a black timer. I don't know why. I would have preferred black sand. But that's a minor quibble.The sand timers are relatively accurate – at least for casual use. Most of them are within 5 seconds of the time they're supposed to keep, no matter which way you set them up (see pictures). But the 10-minute timer is way off. When it's label side up, the timer takes 9 minutes 47 seconds to empty. When it's label side down, it takes 12 minutes 22 seconds to empty. That's a huge difference! I measured it multiple times with a stopwatch and got the same results. There's no blockage or problems with the sand itself; I think it's just the way the middle part is shaped.That said, the timers are OK for my needs. I got them to time myself when brushing my teeth or doing diaphragmatic breathing exercises etc. I also used the 30-second timer as a prank gift for a friend's 32nd birthday, which is why it's not in the pictures. None of my uses need down-to-the-second accuracy. But if you're looking to get these because you need accurate sand timers, be warned!

    This is a great product to use. Each timer has specific times. Some children understand 3 minutes by the sandtimer rather than you saying "In 3 minutes time", as they process it easier as they can see it. Different colours, different times. They are fun to work with.
