  • BONDS DISSIMILAR MATERIALS: Gorilla Glue is the incredibly strong all-purpose adhesive that expands into all kinds of materials to create a strong, durable bond. It bonds stone, metal, glass, ceramic wood & more.
  • EXPANDING FORMULA: Gorilla Glue expands 3 x into the materials to form an incredibly strong bond. It also is 100% waterproof and can withstand extreme temperatures (-40°C to 100°C), making it suitable for indoor and outdoor applications.
  • DAMP IT: Gorilla Glue is activated by moisture. Lightly dampen one surface with water. Do not add water to bottle. For dense hardwoods – dampen both surfaces
  • GLUE IT: Spread a thin layer of Gorilla Glue on the other surface. Best results achieved when applied at room temperature. Note: Do not over apply glue as it will expand 3-4 times whilst curing. Be careful of squeeze-out.
  • GRIP IT: Grip objects together for a minimum of 1-2 hours. You can use clamps, heavy objects, or Gorilla Tape to achieve gripping pressure. Bond line improves with better gripping. Full cure achieved in 24 hours.

    I always thought this stuff was rubbish, like the glue you used to get at school, but it's absolutely amazing. It expands when activated by oxygen, and a tiny amount can span across small gaps to help with adherence. Be careful though, as once it's cured it's hard to remove, and it took me a while to find the correct amount. It's super strong, though.

    This is one of several must have glue and sealant in my DIY tool kit. I use mastic type of sealant for something I want held in place semi-permanently in place. I use wood glue for carpentry for things I can wait and have enough clamps for. Hot melt glue is for things I wanted held quickly, things I have to hold in place and the glue dried for there is no easy clamp solution to hold etc. Then there is this Gorilla which I use when needing high temperature tolerance. The hottest application for for fry pan handle (measured 93 degrees C). It is strong as super glue but I only use this for tasks I can afford to wait or for task I want to glue to run into spaces and interstices for it also expands as it dries and to fill any remainng gaps.When just squeezed out of the bottle it looks just like runny honey but fortunate not to have kids running around the place to mistake it and cause a mishap.

    The best glue we've found – and we've tried 'em all over the years. Now we only use Gorilla glues, including their very good superglue. It just works (though be aware that this one does expand a little on application so if you need a clean, invisible join it may not be good for every circumstance.)
