I own a professional heavy-duty tripod to mount my professional video cameras on but now I'm using smaller cameras a lot more to make videos such as my iPhone and DJI Osmo Pocket 3. So I needed something lighter and more transportable than my old heavy tripod. This Smallrig camera tripod is perfect for me now and so light-weight to transport yet stable and strong enough to mount my new cameras on.

This is a really good, really versatile tripod but it has one little flaw that you have to watch out for. If you remove the tripod head and centre column completely to attach to the monopod leg then chances are very good that a little plastic sleeve that should stay attached to the centre column when will detach and stick in the tripod base. You probably will have a great deal of difficulty removing the sleeve and you'll need a set of needle nosed pliers to remove it. I'd recommend just removing the head and attaching to the monopod leg. You will lose a little height on the monopod but there will be a lot less cursing.

Broke a few cheap tripods and finally decided to pick a good one up. This is perfect because it's also a monopod so saves me carrying 2 things to shoots. I lose one of the rubber feet came off but I switched to the metal ones that came with it and although they come loose occasionally I haven't lost any yet.

This tripod was bought after a fair bit of research when I was looking for a decent tripod that would do me on holiday. I was pleasantly surprised at just how good it was, especially as it was a very good price. It handles really well, all the legs easily slide in and out without any sticking or difficulty, the locks also work amazingly well, no legs slip on this tripod. It even comes with spare spukes which are really handy when you need a bit more stability. The ball head works a treat and locks precisely when you need it to. All in all I think I picked a cracking tripod for my holidays although since getting it, I love it and never go out without it. My big heavy tripod is consigned to a cupboard for the foreseeable future, this tripod is light weight and very robust, I just love it 😀

I would have given it 5 stars as it is light, packs small, and works both as a tripod and monopod.The only reason I’ve knocked stars is because I find that it takes longer than I want to get the meter on it to be level which is super important . Otherwise it’s great

Perfektes Stativ
Ich brauchte für meine Kamera ein neues Stativ da mein altes nichts mehr taugte.Ich hab dieses Stativ jetzt schon ein paar mal benutzt und bin äußerst zu frieden damit. Es ist sehr robust und sieht auch hochwertig aus. Mit dem 360grad kugelkopf auch sehr gut. Zusammengeklappt ist es auch sehr kompakt, was gut für unterwegs ist.

assez solide pour mettre un Panasonic S5-2 de travers dessus par contre si sol pas droit il faut lester le trépied pour pas que l appareil se renverse

Stativet har många funktioner som bara dyrare stativ har. Mjuk funktion ger fina panoreringar. Bra mobilhållare på köpet.
Een stevig platform
Dit is een goed statief. Een mooi platform om scherpe landschapsfoto's te kunnen maken. Het is goed instelbaar en met alle waterpassen erop goed waterpas neer te zetten. Dit is erg belangrijk als je bijvoorbeeld panoramafoto's wilt maken.Wat ik jammer vindt, is dat er geen bracket bij zit om mijn fototoestel verticaal gecentreerd te kunnen plaatsen op het statief, dat moet ik er dan weer apart bijkopen.
