My hubby has lots of hobbies that predominantly mean him working in his garage workshop. During the winter months he has had to curtail this due to getting too cold despite having a heater. I came across these jackets and thought it might help to prolong the time he can carry on. He absolutely loves it! Now he’s a 46 inch chest and so I went for the large in case he was wearing a jumper underneath. It’s a snug but perfect fit. I think it would need to fit snuggly to get the full benefit of the warm panels. You need to buy a power pack which are available on Bolo and I chose one that said it was for heated jackets and it was under £20. Just make sure it’s the right sized power pack so the one I have is 5 v 2.1 amp which is the minimum requirement. The jacket itself has a usb lead in the inside pocket so you plug your power pack in and then pop everything inside the pocket. The pocket has a Velcro fastening so nothing falls out. The jacket is operated by the buttons on the front. The instructions are clear on how to operate it. You will see the two blue lights in my photo. Blue is the lowest setting, white is medium and red is high. At the moment he hasn’t needed any warmer than the lowest setting. You can choose to only have the back on or front on or both. I think this is such a brilliant idea and useful in so many different scenarios. Perfect for elderly people or cold intolerant adults to keep warm in the winter months. Perfect for dog walking or gardening and a great way to avoid having your heating on all day across the cold months. In fact this jacket would help in any situation where you might be cold. The power pack I bought keeps the jacket working for nearly five hours. The jacket can be washed on a cool wash as long as you don’t use strong acidic or alkaline detergent according to the instructions. I haven’t washed it yet but I think I might do it by hand using my woollen wash detergent. This is definitely a really good purchase for my hubby. He loves it, says it’s comfortable and I’m sure he will enjoy being able to carry on with his hobbies well into the winter. He’s had no issues with the jacket at all. Worth every penny.

I had been looking at getting one of these for some time, especially to use whilst working from home during the colder months, and what a revelation this has been.I have had this since January and it has been exactly what I hoped it would be. The jacket is very comfortable to wear both standing up and sitting down. The heating elements in the back, belly and in particular neck are perfect for keeping me warm whilst sat at my desk. I found that starting it off on the warmest setting got it up to temperature nice and quickly, and I was then able to reduce it down to keep me comfortable.Styling wise, I like the look and have worn it out whilst walking when it was particularly cold. In terms of sizing, it was spot on for me.If I had any criticism, it would be that I wish the pocket to put the battery in was a few cm's deeper so this fitted better, although the issue may just be the battery I have.For the money I think this is a great item and well worth the outlay. I’d definitely recommend this product to anyone looking for one of these.

I do a lot of dog walking and go to long training sessions. This is brilliant. I bought a pair of battery packs separately, cost £20. 1 lasts about 4 hours with just the back on. You can have back, front or both on. Never really need the front.Heats neck, shoulders and lower back, ideal!!

After owning one for a few months now I feel right to review.This is amazing.I walk my dog every morning and work outside all day. This has made everything that bit nicer.I use a 30000 powerbank.I walk my dog for 1 hour with both front and rear on high, then at work I have the back set to lowest and front off, however I put both back onto full as needed for example yesterday it was -5 to -2 all day.When I got home the powerbank was at 28%So basically from 6am until 5pm I used 72% I have a second powerbank just incase.This provides a comfortable heat and also keeps the heat well.I wear a base layer underneath then a jumper over the top, then my fleece over that.I didn't feel cold at all. At times medium or high would be too warm.My only criticism would be the position of the power bank.It sits lower left and the cable is short. However this is rectified by having a 30mm USB to USB extention so it fits in front pocket this way it isn't irritating when sat down.Also some powerbanks don't like the jacket so advise getting powerbank with a USB 3 port. As for being upto the job I'd say it is.I work as a roadside breakdown tech so I'm constantly moving, bending etc and this causes no issues or operational issues. Without the extention lead it probably would so I'd advise getting one if it's is for more than just wearing when stood upright.

This heated Gilet works well, really good heat settings that are easily adjusted up , down,on ,off etc think I purchased it just in time given it's now snowing! The size was bang on fits a treat and surprisingly not too thick so you can fit it under another jacket if needed or in my case a motorcycle jacket.

The media could not be loaded. Je viens de le recevoir.La finition est très acceptable. Gris et noir et un peu rembourré façon "couette" il n'est pas laid. il est coupe-vent. Les poches repose-mains sont naturellement chaudes car doublées par l'extérieur.La fermeture à glissière est de type "imperméable" comme sur les vêtements de pluie.Il est déjà chaud sans avoir à le brancher mais une fois connecté à la Powerbank c'est encore mieux évidemment, on sent très bien la chaleur même sur le niveau minimum.- Pour la taille : avec 118cm de tour de poitrine, j'ai préféré ne pas prendre de risque et j'ai choisi le XL (conseillé pour 126cm) ; Je suis à l'aise par dessus un T-shirt sans que le gilet ne soit trop grand.- Pour la batterie : j'ai acheté une 13800mAh qui m'a l'air assez sophistiquée car je souhaite recharger également un téléphone. Je n'ai pas encore testé la durée de charge. A propos de cela ...POUR RÉPONDRE A UNE REMARQUE SUR LE CHAUFFAGE QUI S'INTERROMPT RAPIDEMENT SANS RAISON APPARENTE : lorsque le gilet consomme suffisamment de courant, devant et dos en fonctionnement quelque soit le mode, le gilet continue à chauffer normalement sans interruption. Mais lorsqu'un seul côté est en chauffe, soit le devant soit le dos et en mode bleu (le plus faible), la batterie s'arrête d'elle même (en environ 20 secondes) parce que le courant de décharge est trop faible. Elle pense être en train de charger un téléphone et considère que la charge est terminée. Arrêt automatique. Si je la redémarre en appuyant sur son bouton on/off le gilet peut chauffer de nouveau dans ce mode de fonctionnement mais seulement les 20 secondes de réveil de la batterie avant coupure.Je viens de tester le dos seul en mode maxi ou intermédiaire le gilet chauffe normalement. Avec le devant seul aussi. Mais en mode bleu le plus faible, arrêt automatique en 20 secondes. C'est aussi le cas avec le devant seul. Voyez la vidéo. C'est donc juste le mode de fonctionnement de l'accu qui provoque cet effet. Personnellement ça ne me dérange pas, à la chasse au poste par -10° ou moins dans le Jura je ne serai jamais dans ce cas.Content de mon achat pour l'instant en tout cas.

Habe ich für meine Mutter bestellt. Sie meinte, so etwas braucht sie nicht. Jetzt will sie nicht mehr ohne Weste. Hält auch sehr warm, wenn sie nicht an ist. Super weich. Gute Passform.
