Brought this Cruical P3 2TB SSD storage for my PC, mainly for the issues starfield brought to most of us, but have since used it for other games.Arrived quickly although in possibly less packaging than I would have liked for such a delicate piece of hardware, the hard plastic casing was ok, just a little more would have been nice for piece of mind.Installing the SSD was easy, making sure your pc is on it’s side as this makes it a lot easier to mount and secure it straight to the motherboard. Especially if like me there is a graphics card and power supply in the way.Even though it is a Gen 3 it still loads games faster than I need and steam (or other game launchers) can update/ download games on to the SSD much quicker than a standard external SSD on a usb 3 connection. Games load almost instantly and there have been no issues from the SSD when playing/ loading, downloading or updating games.Overall a great bit of kit for a great price and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a step into the SSD PCIe storage.

The laptop that I have been using for the last four years was running out of space. The operating system also needed a rebuild and I was worried about the possibility of losing valuable material during an upgrade, so I decided to replace the existing storage with new, faster and larger capacity SSDs and retain the old devices in external caddies. The process went cleanly and I now have a fast PC with plenty of free storage. The Crucial devices were easy to install and seem to perform well.

Migrated all data from my ssd to this and what a difference my pc boots up instantly...finally no more waiting at the startup screen...should have bought 1 ages ago..but will definetly buy another as im building a pc for my kids. Easy to install and it comes with a cool pad and screw, fits flawlessly and no noise...well worth it.

I'd been wanting an SSD for years but couldn't justify the cost of a 1gb drive. But when the prime sales came up it looked more agreeable.This is relatively easy to install and will fit into the M2 slot on your motherboard. Ignore the pci-e ports or it will be flapping in the wind ready to cause trouble. I did have to remove and refit my graphics card to fit this but that's no huge burden and is easier than faffing with sata cables and routing.You will have to carry out an initial format before use to prep the drive. Depending on your plans and what Operating system you are using / installing will depend on how it's done. I was using windows 10 so went to computer management> disc management and prepared new simple drive. After formatting I then did a clean install of Windows 11 from usb stick. If you are switching from a conventional HDD to SSD you will have to go into the bios and change your boot order and a few other settings (just search YouTube for the name of your motherboard and enable SSD). There are lots of guides available. There is quite a bit of support documentation on the crucial site but it is basic and going under the idea of everything in ideal condition.. and of course your OS behaving.I setup a partition for a few 100gb for the OS and the rest as a secondary drive for games. What a difference! My pc now boots up in seconds instead of minutes.i often click the power button on the base unit and look up to say "what? Already? That can't be it.I was gonna go grab a cuppa."Stability is excellent and instead of loading things are just available. There's no waiting or buffering.it's just there ready. This really has made a world of difference. The only negative is that it will show you how slow your internet speeds are.Good quality and value. highly recommend. Thank you for reading my review. The first time I bought an SSD, it was a 500GB Crucial MX SATA 3 drive, and it cost about £120. Granted, this was some years ago, but it's incredible how much the prices have come down at what great value this 1TB drive at roughly £50 represents.2tb HDDs go for about £50 now, so this is now only about twice the price of a mechanical disk, at over 10x the performance and a fraction of the physical size and weight. CrystalDiskMark shows sustained reads of just under 3.4GB/s, and writes of just over 3.1GB/s - pretty damn impressive and around what was advertised, and fairly respectable randoms.Windows 11 boots within 20 seconds - basically by the time my monitor's turned on and I've put my hand on my keyboard and mouse, I'm ready to type the password. No issues here, nor with opening programs etc - everything feels snappy.I think the only thing that could be improved is if this drive had a dram cache, but that's definitely a more premium feature. I would prefer it too if the great value 1tb carried through to the 2tb pricing, which is something like 20% more cost per GB at current pricing.

Best Budget SSD on the market. After installing and booting had no issues at all didn't even need to install any software or updates just plug and play.Read and write speeds very stable, fast and competitive for the price range. Will be purchasing again in the future.

I got this item for £170, which was an absolute steal. I have used Crucial storage before and it has lasted over 10 years, so my hopes for this M2 SSD are high. The device works perfectly and is extremely fast. I am currently using the drive to install large triple A games and it has no problem. Recommend this to anyone looking for an affordable alternative to faster NVMe SSDs. Still meets an excellent standard despite its age.

fiz a instalação com muita facilidade, só não queria reconhecer na minha placa mãe no inicio mas atualizei a bios e deu tudo certo.Reconheceu em meu computador perfeitamente e inicializa meus arquivos com extrema velocidade e me atende muito bem.E vale ressaltar que eu estava com um SSD via SATA e troquei por esse P3 NVMe e não perdi nenhum arquivo, do fato da crucial disponibilizar uma ferramenta de instalação para transferir o WINDOWS e todos os seus arquivos! (MEU SSD SATA ERA DA CRUCIAL.)Como era o meu caso q iniciava em SSD via SATA e agora inicio no NVMe isso é incrivel e removi o antigo SSD SATA e montei outro PC até e meu PC NVMe está funcionando perfeitamente.Me atende e nunca deu problema.
