    So I have porcelain tiles in both bathrooms and I can now understand the language that was coming from them when the builders were fitting them!Once they had gone the ‘boss’ presented me with, hooks, shelves and shower baskets all of which are screw to the wall fittings, no problem I thought and out came the drill bits and drill. Needless to say not one would so much as start a hole. Did I mention I have not had porcelain tiles before!A little research (yes I know, but better late than never) however it’s Sunday so off to Wickes, and return with two drill bits at £6 a piece, followed all the tips and managed to drill two holes one per drill bit!!!! Both bits were totally *#%¥ed! Looking at all the stuff the boss wants put up I had another 20 holes to go , so looked on here read the reviews and took a punt.Arrived lunch time Monday, opened box and first thing I see is a label Made in China, big sigh oh well got them now, but on closer inspection much better shaft than the hollow tube on yesterday’s crap, much longer cutting surface and I mean three times as much , also dust clearing channels. Two hours later all fittings installed, don’t get me wrong it was still not easy and one drill bit is worm out but you get three 6mm in the kit and the second one is still good.Having now finished this review, once I have submitted it rest assured that I will be contacting the Vatican to declare a miracle, as I have purchased something ‘Made in China’ that actually works.

    These cut much better than Erbauer but I found each but will only cut one hole. For the price I think this is reasonable and the cut was so quick and easy I’m impressed.

    Quality and performance was poor

    Had to install two shower curtain rods (8 holes) in porcelain tile. Followed tips found on YouTube and these worked perfectly. No cracked tiles! Later i was having some trouble drilling holes for a TV mount in a rock fireplace so I pulled out the largest one of these and it chewed through and made a great pilot hole for my larger masonry bit.

    The diamond coating on some of these came off within minutes. Won’t even get through 1 tile.

    Dies ist der erste Diamantbohrer womit ich lange und exakt arbeiten kann. Das beste dabei ist das dieser Bohrer sehr lange hält und ich bis zu 40 Löcher in Keramik bohren könnte ohne das die Keramik bricht. Ich werde mir definitiv noch mal diese Diamantenbohrer bestellen
