Standby current: 1.2mA (spare battery power supply, battery self-supplied)
Supply voltage: D5--12V
Recommended voltage: DC9V
Illustrate:
1. 89C2051 digital clock kit, the control chip adopts AT89C2051, the digital tube adopts 3 two-digit red common anode type LED digital tubes, the display is clear and bright, because it is a scanning display method, so each digital tube abcdefg each pin uses a bus In parallel, changing the resistance value of R4-R10 can change the display brightness.
2. The S1 button is used to calibrate the time, press and hold it for more than 2 seconds to enter the calibration time state and exit, and quickly touch it to adjust the time value.
3. This circuit adds a 3V backup battery, AT89C2051 uses the backup battery to supply power when the power is off, the clock will not stop, but the digital tube does not display, the backup battery is useless after a call, AT89C2051 uses an external power supply, and the digital tube displays normally. So you can add a power switch, turn off the power when you go out, turn it on again when you come back, and display it normally, so as to achieve the purpose of saving electricity.
4. Accurate travel time.

3.0 out of 5 stars Not a bad kit
Ok - first off - Im a qualifed enough to know what Im doing....I needed a simple clock for a proj. and decided this was the lazy way out.1> Arrived quickly - all components - BOM & Schematic on a4 page.2> Pads on PCB lift very easily - so be very careful when soldering... 2 lifted on me (very rare) - I have a proper soldering station This caused unit not to function correctly (7805 was one pads and uP reset was the other.) Eventually got unit to work - but - pin 11 on uP is blitzed so display is missing 1 bar on all LEDSo - would I buy again - probably - if your careful and watch out for lifting pads you will be ok.
4.0 out of 5 stars A well designed kit ... with a few issues
First the good news:1. It works!2. The board is decent enough quality with a clear silkscreen (clearer than the printed copy!), nice sized pads and a good solder mask. Soldering was straightforward (I used 60/40 solder @ 350 C)3. It's good value and one of the few 'through hole' kits available at this price point if you don't fancy SMD soldering! Now a few niggles which cost it a star from me:1. The instructions are badly translated to English. e.g. "When welding, please do not have a few solder joints"2. The USB power cable is next to useless - unless you remove/ignore the 78L05 regulator. USB supplies 5V (which is the output of the regulator) but the regulator requires a minimum 6V input to provide a 5V output. There's no mention of this in the instructions. So either bypass the regulator OR use an alternative higher power supply. The board does not work from USB power with the regulator in place.3. The baldy translated instructions mention jumpers ('This kit has a total of three jumpers, the installation of the first jumper installed' - huh?) and the component list (BOM) also lists these, however my kit did NOT come supplied with any jumper components, and none were pre-installed on the board Also, unlike all the other components the jumper locations on the board are not designated in the silkscreen. This led me to (incorrectly) believe they were optional, or changed the behaviour in some way. Actually they are required or else some LED segments and the separator LEDs will not light. Took me a while to figure that one out. Even worse, one of the jumpers underlaps one of the LED segment displays - which I'd already soldered - so I had to desolder that to get to it. The waste clipped legs from the resistors make adequate jumper substitutes, but why is it like this? Why aren't they just connected by tracks on the PCB?? Additional soldering practice?4. One of the three 'twin 7-seg LED' components was supplied with badly flattened/mangled legs. I had to straighten them carefully. Probably don't expect great quality on kits at this price, but still, if I'd damaged it trying to straighten them it would have been a return.None of these are major issues, just something to be aware of. it's still a great kit for some through hole soldering practice, or as a first electronics project.
3.0 out of 5 stars DIY
Easy to learn soldering
5.0 out of 5 stars Works great.
Instructions a little poor but adds to the challenge of assembly.Works great on 9v and 12v, but not well on 5v via the provided USB lead.Tip: Take out and bypass the voltage regulator to work on 5v.
4.0 out of 5 stars Works okay
5.0 out of 5 stars Good quality! Fast delivery! But it doesn’t include 2032 battery.
Everything fine! But need buy battery 2032.
Preis - Leistung. Genaue Beschreibung.
War eine Erfahrung beim zusammenlöten. Super gelungen nach der guten Beschreibung. Funktioniert super.
SH-E 879 six-digital clock
Nada
Non funziona
Ersatzteilspender
Alles zusammen gebaut, ist ja sehr einfach, 9 volt Block angeschlossen und kurz zugeschaut wie der erste Transistor abgeraucht ist...
