Excellent machine, I use this 2/3 times a day and it has been brilliant. Excellent quality coffee again and again and less fussy than the digital screen machines. It heats up quickly and is a perfect size for a countertop. Cleaning is made easy with removable trays.

After purchasing a different brand coffee machine which was so disappointing we chose the Sage Barista Impress and what a difference- this machine is amazing and most importantly the coffee is hot and tasty. Would recommend this one highly

Overall a nice design but not for the newbie to bean-to-cup. Took some trial & error to set the grinder for each type of coffee, but consistent after that. Good also for pre-ground coffee types. Biggest negative is the steam control knob. Far too difficult - not enough leverage (noted by other reviewers). Bought a lever for £15 but needed some additional glue to make it robust enough for frequent use. If Sage fix this glaring design flaws then the kit is worth 5 stars.

The only thing that has tripped me up with this great machine is that I didn't read the instructions, so when the filter lights flashed and it wouldn't grind my beans, I thought it was jammed! It turned out that I hadn't pushed the portaflter into the grind mechanism properly. Doh! Apart from that, this is a really easy machine to use, makes great coffee and it easy to keep clean and maintain. I love using it and I love the coffee it makes.

We have been a long standing user of various coffee pods but due to a company failing to deliver us coffee pods for 3 weeks we had had enough and decided to take the plunge into a bean to cup machine.After doing reviews this machine seemed perfect for us being novices!The machine is simple to use after watching a couple of YouTube videos and is simple to operate. It only takes a little longer than a pod machine to use and clean.I find it a pleasure to make coffee and I actually look forward to the process and the coffee...wow....amazing.My wife likes it black and I like it with milk heated with the steam jet thing!We are spending around £20 / month on 2kg of Beans (from Bolo) rather than the £50+ on Pods! For much nicer coffee.I wish I had done this years ago!

Once setup is a piece of cake great froth once you got the knack looks and feels a great purchase easy to use filters holder to insert in water tank used water softener (tiny balls/pellets)this machine takes tap water. last machine complete disaster

I bought this brand new and the grinder belt or cogs just broke within a week. At the time it was £750. For that price I would really expect a better quality product. The exterior looks and feels great, but clearly the interior has been made to break nice and quickly.
