5.0 out of 5 stars These are brilliant!
I have three for various computers here. They don't just look stylish, but work well.Supplying power to the USB hub is (I feel) essential if you are plugging in hard drives. If you can supply power to drives externally you'll put less strain on your computer. Otherwise... during usage surges hard drives can lack sufficient power and may crash - right when they are in use. Not a good thing. This solves that problem. And even better - they are USB 3.2.
5.0 out of 5 stars Very good!
Quality product from Orico, like usually!Working perfectly!
4.0 out of 5 stars It's powered USB hub
I've completed this review as the star rating gets submitted before you get to the rest of the details. I've no idea why there is a 'Camera quality', 'Lightweight' or 'Versatility' feature associated with this product. The unit itself is compact, it does what it claims and seems to operate without significant temperature but I've only been running a single HDD from it. It's used with a Raspberry Pi and is fine. I'm not been able to establish the throughput with all ports filled. It's a little expensive for what it is.
5.0 out of 5 stars A neat little object.
Exactly as described, Attractive design, very stable on desk, robustly built. Functional and as decribed. Not the cheapest object to do the job, but I'm please with it
3.0 out of 5 stars No fit for my purposes
So I'd like to start this off by say that overall the product is good it's lightweight and small enough that if you wanted to take it out and about you should have a problem (as long as there's a spare wall plug where your going). Now onto my issues, I bought this as I was looking for a hub that could reach my system tower under my desk so I wouldn't have to run a H.O.T.A.S round the back of my desk every time the urge to fly took me as my desk is too small to have the Stick and Throttle as a permanent fixture. now I've attempted to use non-powered hubs and a single USB port doesn't supply enough power for both devices at once, hence why I went with a powered one.plugged this one in got some double sided tape to hold it down because it's so light the two cables kept twisting and move it. Once that was sorted I booted up one of my games and began testing and within 5 mins I knew this wasn't suitable as I was getting ghost pressed (When a function activates without any input from the person). I tested a little further and it seems that the 10gbps data transfer is very overstated as it's was struggling with the amount of functions found on just the Throttle. As I'm writing this I currently have the stick plugged in and working just fine however if I try and just run the throttle it overloads the hub and results in ghost presses. So in short, fine for light work but don't try and run any demanding equipment on it.
5.0 out of 5 stars expensive but reliable
Orico is good manufacturer. Works fine for me, hard to find higher power supply USB hub. (not powered USB extension is rubbish even you connect to PC powered USB slot you need extra boost power for extension)
5.0 out of 5 stars Good size and design
Good size and neat design
1.0 out of 5 stars Doesn't work reliably
Unfortunately just out of return date, (as usual, stupidly short time to return). Yet another so-call 10Gb/s hub that isn't reliable. I just had 3 M.2 SSD's connected to the hub with hub connected to a 10Gb port system port. Used AJA to test. Seemed OK at first but then drives seem to be busy for no reason holding up CPU from doing other stuff. Removed and system runs fine. Tried several 'known good' drive and cables but no difference. Another piece of junk!
Attention ⚠️ alimention
Pas adapté à la norme française donc impossible de le faire fonctionner vue que la fiche ne vas sur mes prises
I have more speed now 😂👌perfeccccct
