Arrived on time. Well packaged and although the box was bashed about a bit the contents were completely undamaged. The Oak colour is a little lighter than the photos suggest but still fits in well with my decor. Simple design with no plastic fittings only screws, dowels and metal clasps. Nicely finished and took about an hour to assemble. Don't know how long it'll last but if I get 5 years out of it at this price it's great value. I'd buy another. Recommended.

I put this together on my own without any problem. It was easy to figure out, although I fitted one of the shelves back to front without thinking. They are easy to remove so no problem. The unit is fitted together using screws and there are no fittings that will become bent or get lost or shelf brackets that snap.The backing boards were the trickiest part, and I suggest you take your time with these. You are supplied with special nails for these.It comes complete with straps to attach to the wall, a very good safety feature if you have young children or pets.Overall, I'm very pleased with it. It doesn't look cheap and It can manage my heavy books.

I was surprised at how easy the bookcase was to put together. It took me about 1 hour. The shelves are big enough to hold a large book. It also appears very sturdy without anchoring it to the wall.

Good for the money, panels alittle thin so wouldn't hold a large amount of weight.Most important thing for us was that it is a near perfect match to the Malibu range from Argos/Homebase
3.0 out of 5 stars Poorly Cut Backboards
I bought two of these and am currently using both of them.Pros:*Shelves and sides are sturdy with a nice finish.*Putting most of it together is easy.*Stickers to cover screw holes are a very good idea.*Have a lot of space.Cons:*Backboards were all cut unevenly for both of them which is a major issue both because parts overhang the sides, but it then makes it difficult to put on every other board. I feel like it started well then cheaped out with the back. A back you screw in would be significantly better than this. The back is in five pieces you have to nail on and one you screw the wall attachments to. Much of it isn't noticeable from afar if nails go through or the back is uneven, but it was still quite annoying putting it together and trying as much as possible not to randomly pierce the backboards.*A couple of shelves were chipped a little, I just put the undamaged side facing up as it doesn't strongly matter to me.Over all I'm giving it 3 stars. They are okay, usable, and aesthetically very nice, easily hiding much of the visual flaws, but whatever or whoever is cutting the backboards is not cutting them evenly or straight which really is a significant problem and frustrating when putting it together, some shelves were minimally damaged, and they're really not worth the full price, the quality checks that should be there for the full price just aren't. If you don't care much and just want some shelves, then this is fine, it's just not quality checked as much as it should be.

Very, very disappointed in this. I confess to buying in a hurry, and went by the description of 'extra large' which it most certainly is not. We bought this to replace an Argos unit that had drawers at the bottom that had failed, and the old unit was almost double the size.It is very easy to put together with the hardest part being putting the back on, however the quality is shocking - nobody is expecting solid oak at this price level, however this is made from first class Chineseium - - - utter garbage, so much so that the side panels are not straight/flat.If you are daft enough to buy one of these, I would suggest being very careful about what you put on it in terms of weight - anything over a couple of sheets of A4 is taking a risk. Best advice, save your money and stack you stuff on the floor, because it is likely to end up there eventually anyway going by the quality of these shelves.

The first one I received was damaged so I requested a return. A new one was sent out immediately and it was received even before the old one was collected! Easy enough to build and for the price is not bad quality. I have it full of very heavy textbooks and it's doing its job.

Lovely bookcase, but parts were bumped/scuffed. Also weren't told by the courier Arrow XL that we needed to book a delivery slot. Only found out because I contacted them acting where it was.
Looks good, easy to assemble
This shelf system looks good and is very easy to assemble. I have not tried to have heavy books in it but that might be a good idea because it's not very "fixed" without stuff in it. I kinda wobbles so I recommend you put heavy items/books in the lower shelves. The shelves can not be moved up or down, they are in a fixed position, but they are attached with metal screws so they'll not break, I assume.The price is good, especially considering shipping is included.

Produit de très mauvaise qualité alors que le prix est assez élevé....je ne recommande pas du tout . Une étagère c'est cassé juste à mettre les vis dedans
Belle bibliothèque mais finition moyenne
Pas déçu car bon rapport qualité prix, mais si vous recherchez une bibliothèque sans défaut d'aspect (marques, rayures), le revêtement est fragile donc passez votre chemin.

Arrivato come presto, imballo era ottimo ma un lato del mobile e macchiato dalla fabbrica! Per fortuna la parte macchiata la devo mettere attaccato al un muro così non si vede.Devo dire che per coprire le viti hanno messo dei cerchietti adesivi di bianco ma sarebbe stato meglio quelli di plastica bianca.
