    Did not expect it to be as good as it is !Really frothy the milk for cappuccino etc.Hot chocolate is lovely and the chocolate set is delicious.Value for money and easy to use.We use along side our coffee machine , for frothy drinks.Agree hot chocolate could be hotter , if you like it hot but we pour into microwave cups/ mugs and just give it an boost .Mind as it is very hot then below frothy.

    Very good value and makes really nice hot chocolate as well as frothy milk. Can use with dairy or plant-based milk. Easy to use.

    The media could not be loaded. Makes chocolate really fast. Very simple to use. Simple to keep clean. It looks nice and travel size too which is a huge bonus for me. Great quality. Only reason I have 4 starts is because it don't make enough froth, plus it is on the small size, only get half a mug even when filled to the max line. My partner bought this for me and I really do like it and would recommend it to my friends and family.

    Looking for an alternative to a well know high end brand, this seemed to fit the bill and when it arrived I was very impressed. However this quickly changed when the frother blade i.e. the whole purpose of buying it stopped working.Obviously disappointed and the return window of just four weeks post Xmas meant I am now stuck essentially with a pointless tiny milk warmer

    This is a great hot chocolate maker and it does what it says on the tin, makes hot chocolate. Other hot chocolate makers that I have tried only make very lukewarm chocolate, but this one does actually make a lovely mug of HOT CHOCOLATE. I don’t have chocolate shavings so I used chocolate powder and it works great. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

    It's small. Better get espresso cups for what this makes. There's two hard to see max fill lines on inside, and so it's very easy to overfill when attempting a frothy one, resulting in spillage. (see picture) Having never had anything like this before, at first I wondered if I was stupid or if there was a piece missing. Made the mistake of contacting Salter's customer service. (Ha!) "In order to assist you further, I will need some more information from you. Please see below:- Model number & date code (located on the base/back of your product)- Date & where purchased- Proof of purchase (receipt or bank statement)Once I have this, I can help to resolve this issue for you. "What a load of hassle! It's your company's machine, and why all the date+where+proof malarkey? Is that so they can be judgemental over how much I paid, I wondered?Incidentally, dear reader, I got it on sale for £42, which is ok, had I paid the usual £60ish price point, this review would not have been as good, as it's not worth that much for the small size it makes.Which is a pity, because the velvety froth hot chocolate is just how you'd want it to be, but half a mug as I've found through trial and error (and a few messy kitchen sides) is not really enough, that might be enough for you, but if you want your standard mug full, you really will need a bigger machine.

    I bought this as a gift for a friend and have had nothing but a five star report back, this is the best thing ever, they're so pleased and I've got so many brownie points it's embarrassing. I think I can, by the reports received, recommend this item.
