3.0 out of 5 stars I don't know whether it had an effect
I have been using this sleep supplement for several weeks now, and I have used melatonin in the past, so that's what drew me to this as it's billed as an alternative to melatonin. However, in my experience, I have a lot more effect with melatonin than with this. I will continue to try it out for the next few weeks, as sometimes these things can be cumulative. But as it stands at the moment, I don't really know whether it is making any difference. It promises a blend of herbal ingredients that are natural and all designed to aid with sleep. I did find the capsules to be easy enough to swallow and didn't think that they had any particularly noticeable aftertastes. I certainly didn't have any digestive issues after taking them.Maybe they will help certain people with specific sleep issues such as getting off to sleep or chronic insomnia, but in my case, it didn't really help with preventing me from waking up multiple times each night. The price point is quite high compared to other supplements that are available to help with sleep. This may be down to the ingredients used and the quality of those ingredients, or it may just be a pricing decision.

1.0 out of 5 stars Misleading Description And Conflicting Dosage Information
It should be noted that at the time of ordering this page stated that these tablets contained melatonin, but they don’t. The page has since been updated to state that these capsules are a “Melatonin Alternative”, however I personally think this is still very misleading. These supplements do not act in the same way as melatonin does, nor play the same role in the body as melatonin does, so consequently are not an alternative to it.Another issues is that the instructions on the bottle are also misleading. One of the labels on the bottle states that you should “Take one capsule a day with plenty of water”, yet the label next to it states that the daily dosage is 2 capsules per day. Which is it?As a result of these issues, it is hard for me to recommend these tablets to anyone, as how can you trust you are taking the right dosage, let alone that the capsules contain what they claim to contain? On top of this, considering the ingredients these capsules are said to contain, even if the ingredient list is accurate, these tablets are overpriced for what you get.~ Ethics Statement: Bolo provided me with this product to review and asked in return that I give my honest and impartial opinion about it. That’s what I’ve set out to do in this review, so I hope you found it helpful. ~
2.0 out of 5 stars Not For Me, I’m Afraid……
……I’m afraid I do not feel confident in trying these supplements.I am concerned at the confusion / differences between the listing (which keeps being revised) and the details on the bottle. There is no actual dosage amount of the individual ingredients either on the bottle. For me to feel confident to consume any produce, and particularly supplements, it is essential I know exactly what it contains, and exactly how much.I’m afraid I don’t get this from these supplements, hence why I am not confident in trying them.
4.0 out of 5 stars This is natural
As description, this is a natural supplement, it's herbal based so keep expectations in check. If your someone who finds sleeping very hard constantly, this will not really do anything. But if you find it slightly hard to just nod off on occasions, then this is worth a shot.Reasonable price for what you get.
3.0 out of 5 stars Confusing product altogether!
When I ordered these a few days ago, they were definitely listed as containing melatonin, and the dispatch note confirms this.I did wonder how this was possible, as melatonin is a prescription-only medicine in the UK.I see the listing has since been amended to "melatonin alternative", which is just as well, as not only is there zero melatonin in them, according to the ingredients, but it would have been illegal for there to be any! Personally, I would like to see the reference to melatonin removed altogether, as it can only serve to confuse the consumer. They also purportedly contained magnesium. That too has now vanished from the listing, and appears nowhere in the ingredients. What you do get is a fairly conventional, albeit expensive, herbal sleep remedy, containing (when translated from their chemical names) some B vitamins, Vitamin D3, and several ingredients traditionally held to promote sleep - but all in unspecified amounts! As I already take both B vitamins and D3 for unrelated reasons, I really want to know how much I'm taking here, so I can adjust my other supplements if necessary.Do they work? For me, any effect is marginal and rather inconclusive. I think they may help me get off to sleep a little bit faster, but they definitely don't secure uninterrupted sleep. At more than £26, they're no better and no worse than others I've tried at a fraction of the price.I wouldn't pay £26 to have them again, especially as I feel rather alienated by the initial misleading info about the ingredients. At best it was a careless mistake, and at worst a deliberate attempt to pass off the product as something it's not, which is never going to go down well with me!"Dr. Becky" is a psychologist by the way! Not a pharmacist, and likely not a medical doctor (most psychologists in the UK aren't, but it could be different in the Netherlands, where these are from).
3.0 out of 5 stars Disappointing Sleep Aid – No Noticeable Improvement
I've been using Dr. Becky's Perfect Sleep for a while, but I haven't noticed that it helps me sleep better. Even though it says it gives you deep, refreshing rest, I still have restless nights and feel tired when I wake up. Even though it was advertised as a natural and all-around answer, the formula didn't work for me. It didn't make my sleep better or make it easier for me to fall asleep. Overall, I'm not happy with this product and wouldn't suggest it to anyone who wants to sleep better. I couldn't get it to work.
