Let's address the elephant in the room for a second, it's butt ugly. However I needed to find a reasonably cheap and good quality controller, and this done the job perfectly. It has some very good features like the main audio thing at the top, I haven't used it much but it's pretty nice to have. And the panels on the back which I have used and are very good for the games I play (competitive shooters). Overall I would recommend this controller, don't let it's ugly appearance scare you off like it almost did to me.

Really like the controller already have the recon model and this one is almost as good. Main difference is the handles are hard plastic and feel a bit cheap. The sticks and d pad are great. The surround sound button is great and makes games sound amazing when using a headset. Recommend.

After experiencing drift on two official Xbox Series controllers I vowed to not hand over another penny to Microsoft and their sub par quality controllers.Firstly when I started exploring I was disappointed to find all 3rd party controllers were wired, again we can thank Microsoft for that! In an effort to squash 3rd party products they kept the wireless protocol the controller uses to themselves, hence all 3rd party Xbox Series controllers are either wired or come with a dongle.The first controller I tried was the Gamesir G7 SE, on paper this should've been my end game. Unfortunately it was plagued with faults and after a bad experience with their customer service team, I returned for a refund.I then purchased this Turtlebeach React-R controller for substantially less money, fully expecting a much lesser product. I was pleasantly surprised! Overall the controller is fantastic and I will be using it for as long as it lasts.Corners have been cut, understandably on the materials. The case plastic feels cheap, although it is textured in key places and is perfectly comfortable in the hands.The triggers and joysticks are firmer than the Microsoft controller, but in a good way. It feels easier to make more precise adjustments with a little more resistance.The cable is cheap, but functional, it's 2.5m and is just long enough for what I need. On the plus side it is a standard USB-A to USB-C cable, so could be replaced if length is an issue or if it fails in time.It has a couple of programmable buttons on the back of the controller, these are done using a combination of key presses rather than software.My reason for 4 stars rather than 5 is mainly the rumble. It's too strong! On games where the rumble intensity cannot be adjusted it becomes painful in a short amount of time, to the point I have to turn the feature off altogether. The other minor reason is the D-Pad, it's not great. It's mushy and a circular piece rather than a '+' shape. This is fine for navigating menus but I wouldn't count on it for much else.Circling back though, for the price these are minor gripes and overall this controller will be great for most users that either want a cheap 2nd controller or like me have had enough of the official ones failing. I'm at about a month of daily play now, and so far no drift. However, if this only lasts the same amount of time the Microsoft ones did at least I'll have only spent half the price on it!

I bought an original Xbox 360 controller for my PC over a decade ago and it lasted me many years. Unfortunately you can't buy them new anymore, so for the past few years I've been trying different controllers.Power A and PDP controllers both developed stick drift within a year, and then I spotted this by Turtle Beach. For me, I always associated Turtle Beach with audio and they were very good at that, so I thought why not give this React-R controller a go.I refuse to pay extortionate amounts for controllers and this was on sale for £25. I've had it for 9 months and it's still as good as new. It's on sale again for £25 so I've just bought another for when this one eventually packs in.The sticks feel as sturdy and reliable as when new, unlike the Power A and PDP controllers, whose sticks started to deteriorate after about 6 months and then finally gave in to stick drift after about a year.I don't expect it to last as long as the original xbox 360 controller as that was built like a tank, but I'm well pleased with this and at £25 you can't grumble.

I've been using it consistently for a couple months now. And it's a good controller. 2 nice back buttons that work everytime unlike the PDP controller. The only reason it's getting a 3 star instead of a 4 or 5 is that I'm now getting a little bit of stick drift already. Maybe it's because of the games I play and most of them require to press sticks down alot. But a normal Xbox controller would get stick drift this quick. Overall if your looking for a cheap controller with back buttons this is the one I'd recommend.

A month into ownership I’m having to replace the cable that comes with the controller as it’s stopped working already. Controller does not work unless it’s plugged in so sadly this rendered it useless whilst waiting for a new cable to arrive. Due to the shape of the controller it’s difficult to find a cable that will work with it. I thought this was a bargain but now I’ve spent a further £15 on a cable to fit it seems I should’ve gone for a better controller in the first place.

Je l'utilise pour gamer sur PC, c'est ma 2emme manette de cette marque, l'autre modèle ma durée un an. La plug pour le fil usb est mieux fait que sur l'autre modèle. Je suis un peu roff avec mes manettes j'espère que celle ci va me durer plus d'un an. Ca fait 2 mois que je l'utilise et je l'aime vraiment.

Good budget choice
These controllers are good when they work. I’ve had a couple over the years and on both the left stick starts to go out after less than a year of use.If you get one that holds up they are a a great budget option.Also if you live in the US like I do, it’s going to take an incredibly long time to get to you.
