Bought as a macro light. Works really well, slim, quite bright and easy to change colours. It charged quite quickly, haven't yet found out how long a charge lasts. It arrived with a silicon diffuser, which wraps around the light front and sides and acts like a case as well. There are holes cut for plug points etc. in the silicone. I feel this is definately going to be a light I use a lot. As with all smallrig products it feels very sturdy, made of metal not plastic.

When I bought this, I didn't exactly know what I'd use it for. I was just looking at camera accessories and seen it on a few YouTube videos.But I've used it far more than I thought I would for all sorts of things around the house, outside at night & when I need a decent amount of light to guide me for sunrise photography.The battery lasts a decent amount and easily charged with usb-c. Gets really bright as well. I paid £60 for this and well worth the money, a good addition to my camera kit.

This light is great, the app not so much. The light its self is bright and has a wonderful array of settings and colours etc. It is versatile and could be used for various purposes. Its compact size makes it easy to transport around with you. I found the app to be a little bit of a pain, it took me a good 30mins to connect the light to the app initially. The app feels like it needs a little more refinement to optimise on its functionality, but that could just be my personal preference. On the upside you can do everything from the light directly. Over all it’s a good little light and I will, at some point, purchase a second one.

I bought this on a recommendation for a somewhat unusual application; miniature painting. The colour rendering is absolutely superb and it’s surprisingly bright too. I bought a basic but sturdy boom arm with a 1/4”-20 mount that clamps to my desk and the combination is brilliant.The colour temperature can range from 2500k (very warm) to 8500k (cold) but I set it at 4600K and it’s a perfect neutral light close to early afternoon sun.I get around 2.5 hours of use from a charge but if I want to paint longer I can plug it in with a USB-C cable.I think two of these would be a flawless and portable lighting set up for painting/modelling and would do double duty for photographing miniatures and still be cheaper than the brilliant Redgrass R9.

I've used this light for well over a year as part of my wedding videography kit and love it! The overall brightness has always been enough for the work I use and the diffusion cap works well.I haven't used the "Fx" modes as much but overall a good product.The app control is a bit undeveloped but the controls on the light itself make up for that!Would reccomend!

Handy, bright light panel
Excellent construction, relatively inexpensive, very bright small light panel. Precise colour temperature control, variable brightness, solid colours and creative light effects such as police or ambulance emergency lights. Comes with a white silicone cover for light diffusion and protection. It has a 1/4” mount on the bottom and comes with a screw-in adapter that fits the hotshoe of a camera. It’s a serious little light panel, highly capable, well constructed and lasts quite awhile on a charge.
Bright light for it's size and simple controls
The media could not be loaded. I am a news photographer and work the early morning shift. A lot of times I am working in the dark before the sun comes up or even earlier when called in.I broke my on-camera light a while back and have been on the hunt for a small, bi-color, bright, and not too expensive light that I can stick on top of my camera. I wanted something I can keep attached to my camera and just flip it up and down when needed (had to buy an additional attachment for that part).This light seems like it'll do job just fine. It's bright enough for my needs doing interviews when bringing full light kits is not possible. A lot of times I get called out to accidents, shootings and fires in areas where it is dark and I need to park a few blocks away and walk to the scene. I'm not lugging around light kits.I also find the controls simple. One dial adjusts brightness and the other the color temperature. Couldn't ask for anything more simpler. Pressing the menu button guides you through the lights other features such as RGB and FX. I would not use those features for my use case but nice to have for personal creative projects.The menu screen is not too small and shows all the information needed such as brightness levels, color temperature and battery bar, though not an indicator like the Lune Cube version that shows how much battery time remains. It would be nice bit it's not a deal breaker.It comes with a soft diffuser, which is great. My old light didn't and the light was a bit harsh. This will add a nice, soft and even exposure on people. I did have to make a couple adjustments to the diffuser because I also bought a couple quick-release light attachments so I can go from vertical to horizontal and remove it altogether with the flick of a knob.I am happy with my purchase and think this light will work out great for my needs.

Muy fácil de usar
Las fotos nocturnas salen muy bien con esta luz. Mi uso del producto es bastante casual.En un festival de música, mis amigos y yo nos tomamos las fotos usando las configuraciones de colores y quedan muy bien. Nunca me tomo fotografías porque no me gustan como quedan, pero estas que hicimos quedaron fantásticas.También ayudé a un amigo a grabar unos timelapses en un sitio con poca iluminación, y el Led nos salvó el día.Las paredes magnéticas son muy buenas, se adhiere muy bien a las superficies metálicas.Lo único que no me gusta es la app, a veces tengo problemas para conectar mi móvil con la luz. Y me tardo como 5 min en que se conecten.
