    In the photo, the stick to the left had just been activated. The other sticks had been activated less than one hour earlier. For glo-sticks that are supposed to work for 12 hours I was surprised how quickly the brightness dropped off

    These are not as good as the real thing and do not stay bright for very long. It sort of lasted the advertised time but after an hour or so the brightness dipped significantly. Not the best idea for long term illumination (overnight) but good idea for a power cut
