A couple of things to make note of:-* While it's quite small and lightweight, it's worth remembering it won't stand up to too much rough treatment as somebody else has pointed out.* Plug it directly into your Mac/laptop. (Says somebody who spent a month or so plugging it into their USB hub and wondering why it didn't work...)Overall, I've found this to be a great little product, it's quite easy to use. I use it for the most part to rip CDs to MP3. A few months in, it works fine for me and I'm very happy with it.Good value for money

I need to replace a cd drive which had failed. This arrived well packed and it it was installed in minutes and working. I ahve been able to transfer ads to the computer and from there to my phone so that I can listen to music anywhere I go. I am not hi tech, but this was simple to install and use.

It worked well initially then it just gave up and died a few weeks after purchase. It was completely un-responsive.I had other stressful things going on at the time so could not arrange to return the item. It's only now, with more time, that I am going to purchase a similar device, but from another manufacturer.Disappointing overall !

I like this device. It does its job well and plays both audio and data CDs and DVDs without any issue. It is nicely designed from a visual perspectiveInstructions are a little vague in some areas and i have yet to record to disk,, which appears to have caused some users a problem, but the latest Windows OSs should have built in capability to do so without resorting to third party software.
