    Purchased these for collecting weeds, leaves and clippings from a school garden as they are biodegradable. They are robust enough to be filled up with this kind of matter without splitting and are perfect for this, but would not recommend these for anything too heavy, sharp or thorny as they are not heavy-duty.

    Good although the width is ltoo narrow for my 50 litre rectangular shaped bin. Difficult to find compostable bins any wider than the 60 cms or near to that these are.

    I know it sounds strange to rave about bin bags, but these compostable bags are genuinely the best I’ve tried! I've gone through all sorts of eco-friendly options that either fall apart too quickly or rip at the worst moments, but these have been tough, durable, and do the job perfectly. Plus, I feel good knowing they’re 100% recycled and biodegradable, so my conscience is clear! Who knew bin bags could be so exciting? Highly recommend!

    Very pleased with these refuse bags as they look very strong. Glad to be doing my bit for the environment as well as I will no longer be using traditional bin bags. Intend to use these for household rubbish and grass etc from my garden. Would highly recommend.

    I have used compostable bags for my green/food waste for a few years now. i love being able to chuck it in the compost bin knowing I won't be dragging out lumps of plastic when I need to spread it around the garden. The previous make I bought would begin to rot down immediately and were very flimsy (not able to take much) so I thought I'd give these a try. They are strong, sturdy and hold weight well; that's their good points.Bad points; they are a nightmare to tear and I have to use scissors to make a small incision at the perforation point or the whole bag rips and they take an age to rot down. In fact I bought these back in November and my first bag that was left sitting out in all the rain we've had has still not begun to break down so for general landfill rubbish they are good as I guess they will eventually rot, but for using on compost heaps, they're not so good.

    ATTENTION! THESE ARE NOT COMPOSTABLE! I had my doubts when I saw they were made in China and you can tell just by the feel they aren’t. They do not meet the European standard EN 13432, therefore it is NOT "100% It is suitable for industrial composting and commercial composting” as stated. Lies. These are plasticised paper not corn or potato starch!
