I lost a lot of weight last year by using a weighted hula hoop, then I fell pregnant and had to stop. A few months after the birth of my son I decided to get back into it but he HATED the noise of my old hula hoop (which, in fairness, so did I). I decided to replace my noisy hoop with this smart one and it’s so much quieter, it doesn’t hurt little ears! I love the calorie counter and timer, it’s so easy to track what I’ve done. It’s very well built and very easy to adjust and remove.

I had one of the less advanced versions, don't think it was the same brand, the ones that are just plastic tracks with aluminium wheels that goes inside the hollowed out track. The old one was so noisy and the track wasn't very smooth, it would come apart spontaneously, and the wheels broke off after a few weeks only.This one has silicone coated wheels, so not only is it much less noisy, but also makes the rotations so much smoother on the track, and the fastening of the pieces is way more secure. This also cames with a fabric band to protect your top and soft bits from getting pinched in the track spaces, and the fact that this also has a monitor is so convenient because you can actually see how many rotations you've done and the time you've done them in, thereby allowing you to monitor your progress as well as what that converts to in calories burned.My ONLY constructive note is that the red track piece does not stay in the front, the belt slightly shimmies in the direction the ball goes due to the force, and since I whine my waist quite fast (current speed: 2801 rotations in 32:02 min(=400 calories)), I have to twist it from my back to the front literally every couple of minutes, meaning I am not actually getting an accurate count on the monitor, and it is already sitting pretty snuggly on my waits with the full 16 pieces, so there isn't enough room take a piece off to make it sit tighter.Maybe they could do something where the design allows you can attach the red tracking piece to the fabric band to keep it from moving.Edit: I did another work-out the same day, this time placing my fingers inbetween myself and the belt to keep the red piece from moving and the stats show that it does make a difference, time 30:31 rotation 2854, cal 407.

I am used to using the weighted original style Hula hoops which I feel are great for shaping the waist and good cardio exercise for me. I decided to buy this on the strength of the reviews, and the advantage of the smaller area of space needed to use this which is great for bad weather as I can use this indoors easily unlike the traditional hoop.First impressions- the hoop is very well packaged and would make for a great gift. The hoop is included and the timer/counter, also a waist belt and cooling towel (I didn't expect the last two things, so a great surprise). Also, some easy to read instructions on putting the hoop together.So far so good.First use of the hoop- Wish I wasn't ignorant of the waist belt as I had quite bad brusing to my sides the next day after using for around 20 minutes. I thought that as I was used to using weighted hoops that I wouldn't need the belt. My own mistake I admit.Later- The brusing has since gone down and I used it again for around the same amount of time, this time using the belt, and I am pleased to say I had no brusing.Even later- Happy to use this hoop and have now added this to my exercise regime.

Amazing product it is quite and it is enjoyable to used it only one down thing is watch stop/timer/calories counting doesn't work with is disappointing 😕 other than that it great.

I'm in love with my hulahoop. So much fun and very dual able. Then design and colour are amazing. The quality very good for the price. And the size is perfect due to you can add or take away a link.

I really wanted to like this - used to love traditional hula hooping and thought this would be a useful tool to help with toning after weight loss. However - I just can't get on with it for a couple of reasons: - I've tried every tutorial video out there and every beginner move known to man/woman but I cannot make it rotate - it goes round 2 or 3 times and then when at the back it just stops spinning. Nothing is interfering with it and have the belt on but even if I just stand still and give it a good spin it only gets part way round - the videos all show it going round a couple of time when standing still. I've checked the fit in the mirror and it's snug around waist and parallel but the weight does seem to be pulling the counter downwards which I think is what's affecting it. - secondly - I have arthritic fingers and I find the strength needed to push both buttons in at once to undo or do up the hoop beyond me most days. I can only use it when there's someone else in the house to help me do it up and undo it. Other reviews say it's easy so don't know if I just had a dud one but I had 2 links where the top button wouldn't push in at all - even for my husband. Thankfully didn't need them all.I've tried this now for almost a month so don't think I can return it but I'm really disappointed as wanted to love it like other reviewers have.

Is very good quality only thing is that if the person who purchased is is a bit more on the heavy size she won't have enough extra pieces.

Aber nach ein paar Wichen keine Ausfallerscheinungen. Andere Marken haben sehr früh aufgegeben. Diese Marke ist außerdem sehr laufruhig.

L'ho acquistato per curiosità, e anche perché non ho mai imparato ad usare un hula hoop tradizionale. E' facilissimo da montare, e la confezione contiene anche un asciugamano rinfrescante e una fascia per far sudare.Non è silenziosissimo, almeno non le prime volte che lo si utilizza: ci vuole un po' a prenderci la mano (be', il bacino) e i primi tentativi sono stati, almeno nel mio caso, poco incoraggianti, ma è sufficiente non arrendersi. Dopo due sere già ero in grado di farlo "ripartire" dopo metà episodio di serie tv, adesso (dieci giorni dopo) faccio 45 minuti di fila senza problemi.E fa sudare. Oh, sì, fa sudare!Unica pecca (e la ragione per le 4 stelle invece di 5) il "contatore" che non funziona. Non mi interessava che funzionasse, ok, ma visto che c'è dovrebbe contare, e invece non lo fa.
