Needed a tool kit to replace a collection of tools accumulated over the years in three separate large tool boxes, which are rarely used.This has most of what we need, although I did buy spanner and screwdriver sets to compliment it.Liberated lots of space on the garage shelving.Not the best quality, but I am no handyman, so suits our needs for occasional use.

This was obtained as a home toolkit for a single woman with very limited technical/practical background but a willingness to learn. This was the best metric set I could find after a lot of searching. The range, and quality, of the included tools is reasonable, although the inclusion of the screws and wall plugs was obviously just to boost the numbers. The surprise, and a slightly concerning one, was the metric only measuring tape. I know we are meant to be going metric but we ain't there yet by a long way. Dual calibration tapes are no more expensive than purely metric ones, this kit may be of germanic origin but being sold (by several suppliers) in the UK. The whole point of this kit was that it is a fitted case, everything has its place, and trying to find another tape that fits exactly is not going to be easy. Apart from that, a good set.

This set of tools contains just about everything one is likely to need to fix any general problem around the house, in the garage or tool shed. A good storage and carrying case, and a very useful selection of tools. I chose these because the range of tools seemed comprehensive, and this set contained wire cutters that I was looking for - endless checking of the precise contents is needed if one wants to find the best fit for one's needs. On a general note, if I have a doubt about any of these tool sets, it is that they claim x number of pieces, and include a number of wall plugs to make the number of pieces sound more than is actually the case - please tell me how many tools, etc., are included, and not count every last item... caveat emptor.
