Purchased these trainers firstly for them being waterproof when hiking in the hills, but also wanted a pair of running/hiking shoes that look like trainers not hiking shoes, these are very comfortable straight out of the box and well made, I will be ordering a second pair in a different colour, I did follow online reviews and ordered a 1/2 size up and they fit perfect.

I bought for my son to wear at school ! Mostly others wear other branded footwear but theese are far superior!You know when you are holding them that they are a quality trainer They are so lightweight.The soles have lots of grip being more of a outdoor shoe.The colour being all black is a plus also, as we prefer, no white soles here.Not much difference between a half size we felt as we had out 3 sizes at one point as they are more on the expensive shoe we wanted a size up for growth.

I had been looking for these trainers for a while and was amazed they were half price. Great price and really good fit. Have not tried out the waterproofing but confident that they will do the job!

£87 for a fine looking dap, but far too heavy to run in and as for gore tex? Let in any wet and if it rains your shafted. My Nike Pegasus weathershield which don’t shout out gore tex are a far better alternative

In spite of ordering a UK 9.5 (on the Bolo UK website) I've been sent a "USA 9.5"... One would think that The Salomon Store would know the difference! Painfully too tight. Returned. *UPDATE* Upon returning these as an exchange for a UK 10, I was sent a "USA 10" which is in fact a UK 9.5 which is exactly what I wanted, adding a star as they are an extremely good shoe... but again, BEWARE THEIR SIZING!!

Qualità, comodità e gusto estetico
Per quanto non si trovino più a meno di 100 €, ancora una volta Salomon non sbaglia, anzi migliora.Rispetto al precedente modello in Gore-tex (che possiedo ancora), l'estetica ha fatto passi da gigante: l'aspetto delle scarpe è si imponente, ma meno "grezzo". Scarpa sportiva, adatta a terreni medio duri ma che si fa notare anche quando si veste casual. Tuttavia, non perde le sue ottime qualità di comodità, grip, impermeabilità, leggerezza ed equilibrio termico: fondamentale non solo in inverno.Che dire... promosse a pieni voti; taglia conforme alla classica scarpa sportiva che si indossa di solito.
Comfortable
I don’t use these for running, so I can’t comment on that aspect, but for hiking and general use they are comfortable and have an aggressive sole. I like speed laces, which these don’t come with, so I replaced the stock laces with a set of elastic speed laces. I like the water proof design to keep my feet dry in wet grass.
