    I bought two of these as Christmas gifts for two of my boys. The items arrived well packaged with their respective cases. I've taken them both out and they are spotless and work very well. The installed OS is nothing to write home about, but GarlicOS is available on the web and provides a much better solution for those that wish to tinker.Having said that, the UI is clean, and the item has a lot of games pre-installed, so for those looking for out of the box playability, this has it in spades.The screen is small but of excellent quality and the 4:3 ratio displays the installed games perfectly. The sound is typically not as good, given the size of the device, but a cheap pair of headphones will improve that easily.This is an ideal device to revisit some classic games, and it's small enough to be able to fit in a pocket, which makes it the perfect travel companion if you spend time on busses/trains to work/school.Thoroughly recommended.

    There is one fault with this device on some boards that customers should be aware of... When switching over from stock to garlic OS for the first time the device will not boot past the boot screen. The solution is to disconnect the battery for 15 seconds. Personally I just replaced garlic with batocera, as I didn't want to open a new device. It is a budget device so it isn't as powerful as some you tubers would have you believe... However, through batocera the system clock can be increased to something acceptable.

    I would love to give a better review, but the item was defective straight from the box. Would not turn on, only blackscreen.The casing looks great, almost the exact look and feel as an original 80s gameboy. Since, however, I didn't purchase this item to be used as a paperweight, the look and feel isn't particularly relevant.

    Really impressive bit of kit, runs everything up to PS1 really well (no issues besides both the Harry Potter PS1 games out of the hundreds I’ve tested). The supplied games are all big hits, with minimal and adding additional roms is really easy.Build quality is really niceThe console itself really comes into its own with GBA games, with the form factor and really nice screen.Overall very happy, especially for the price.

    Absolutely brilliant. Took me back to the past. All games work perfectly. Great value for money. Runs for hours constant use. Screen is a brilliant size. The only thing I wish they had was more Mario games which I'm now aware you can easily apply on. Great variety of games highly recommend.

    So the handheld looks and feels great. You’re going to be buying this for nostalgia and it has it in buckets and the lack of analogue in this sense is irrelevant. I really like the device but have some caveats that I would hope the seller takes on board.It charges fine but makes a rather strange popping noise though it’s never got hot or been a cause for concern.The games didn’t all work and out of concern I backed up the memory card to another which wasn’t easy as I’ve lost touch with tech and on my pc it appears as several different drives. After the backup more games didn’t work so I feel the choice of storage may be a bit on the cheap side. Either way I would back it up and source your own games as needed

    I got this as I loved the GBA games and wanted to relive some of them childhood memories. I’ve had it a few weeks now and so far, so good, the screen is nice and bright and the games all look great on the screen plus the sound quality is also better than I expected.Most of the games I remember are on the memory card and I’ve loved playing advanced wars and rising sun again. Any games that are missing are easy enough to find online and download to the memory card.The only one issue if I had to pick something is the back buttons rattle a bit, but this doesn’t affect the overall playability. It’s a great little handheld and 5 out of 5 from me.
