    I own two cars, one is a "weekend toy" that sometimes isn't used for 7+ days. So the battery runs down and it won't start. I then use the other car to jump start it, which is such a pain - having to manoeuvre until its close enough for the jumper cables to reach.My neighbour has a Yaber jump starter and offered to start the Merc SLK (3litre V6). I scoffed and laughed when he hauled out this puny little thing that looks like an overgrown powerbank, I thought not a chance but let him do it. Well lo and behold! The moment he connected the terminals, the car sprang into life - alarm went off, all the lights came on and lots of things in the engine started whirring and buzzing.I turned the key and boom - she started instantly! I was truly amazed and so impressed that I bought one for each of my cars.The brand new units arrived and I was really impressed - excellent quality and cleverly designed. Comes with a hard shell casing in sleek black + red lining, which in my case perfectly matches the black and red theme of the car - bonus! Accessories include USB and cigarette lighter plugs. The LED light is extremely handy in the dark, as is the wireless charging facility for your mobile phone. Such thoughtful design, a lot of thinking and effort went into this superbly made product.Both units arrived with 80% charge but I fully charged them, which took about an hour. Then excitedly rushed out to go test the new toy.The car has a dedicated jump start terminal in the left front of the engine bay (see photo 2) problem is, the earth point is quite far away, so I clipped the black terminal to a bolt near the left front shock absorber housing, and the red clip to the red terminal. Earth is earth, right?Nope - she wouldn't start. I tried several times but no luck, until I realised it wasn't earthed properly! Connected the Yaber directly to the battery (photo 1) waited 15 seconds and turned her over - success!Truly a brilliant and versatile product, it effortlessly started my 3l petrol engine car and I highly recommend this amazing Yaber - you will not regret it. Haven't tried the window smashing function and hopefully won't ever need to, but nice to know its there. Where's this technology been all my life?? I won't ever be leaving home without one of these in the boot again...

    I bought this as a starter and a powerbank fir when I fo some long fishing sessions to charge up my phones and gadgets etc.There are dedicated powerbanks out there for this purpose but they are hellishly expensive .This embarrassed the lot of them and powered up my bedchair heated blanket without any issues and also charged my phone and other tablets etc on one charge.The problem came when I came to charge it it would not take a charge and I was set to return it as faulty ,however a short email to yaber support a girl called Bella told me to discharge it To 0 and the recharge it allowing it to calibrate itself .After doing this it charges up no problem .The packing and boxing is really nice and sealed up well ,the carry case and leads and the jump start cables are good quality and the unit itself is compact and well made .Starting a 2.0 ltr car from a flat battery was done with ease and this will be a good companion whilst fishing long sessions .NOTE: as with all batteries you have to maintain these units by charging up periodically to keep them healthy so take no notice of the "it stopped working after 3 months of storage " they all need to be maintained and looked after like any tool .Would I recommend and buy again? Absolutely great product and great support*UPDATE* Long term testing has shown this unit is one of the best purchases I've made on Bolo, it has continued to perform and has had no issues starting my 2.7 landrover my 3.0 audi and the kids cars after they left the lights on .Top performer and worth every penny

    Build quality, functionality, adaptability ease of use, superb value for money, what`s not to like. This is the second Yaber jump starter I have purchased. The one I bought my Father has helped him out several times ( what do you expect he has a Rover 75. ) Despite comparing several different jump starters ( in the flesh ) the Yaber models always seem to have a little too much quality/spec to warrant purchasing any of the other "budget" brand offerings. Extra power ( for the price ) extra spec, little things like the 4 function L.E.D. light instead of the usual/standard 3 function, the ever so handy wireless phone charger, the cigarette lighter adapter, ( though these are becoming more popular. ) the stiffer/tighter clamps with longer leads. All the little innovative ideas that other competitors can only follow, the incorporated window hammer is another. The only criticism I have of this model is the lack of a booster button. When a battery was totally flat, unassisted, my fathers Yaber wouldn`t crank the motor over, however, once the "booster" button was initiated it fired the engine up straight away. Having said that, this unit is a lot more powerful than the one used on that day ( 2000 amps as opposed to 3500. ), so, perhaps that function isn`t required on this model. Maybe unfair to level this as a criticism without knowing in practice. Just trying to be thorough, fair and informative. In short, I would very, very highly recommend this jump starter to the extent of stating/claiming that I have done all the necessary footwork/comparisons/research required to confidently say I have saved you the time and effort of doing so. So, just buy it, you will be delighted.

    Ce booster que j'ai reçu était inutilisable la batterie devait être hors-service ne prenez pas la charge donc ne pouvait pas être utilisé tout simplement.Pas de chance peut-être un cas isolé c'est pour cela que j'ai mis une étoile.Produit renvoyé avec Bolo Prime et remboursé.
